Chapter 19

(A/N: I was gonna do Amnesia by 5SOS, but My Immortal was muuuuuccccchhhhhhh better for the situation.)

"Lexi!!" Mikey cried, running out of his room. "Please don't leave!" He hugged Alexis tight.

"Mike... I have to.." she sighed.

"No you don't! Please! You're my big sissy! I love you!" He sobbed onto her shoulder, soaking her shirt.

"Mikey. Please let me go. I promise I'll visit, little brother." She cupped his wet green face lightly as he looked up at her with those sad blue eyes.

"I-I'll miss y-you." He stuttered, trying to calm down.

"I know sweetie... I'll miss you too." She sighed and kissed his cheek.

"Alexis..." Raph mumbled from his doorway. "P-please don't leave.. I-I'll never hurt you again.. I-I swear on my life..." he walked toward her. She felt warm tears stream down her face.

"R-Raph, I just need time to think." She sighed as she walked closer to him.

"I-I love you." He whispered. He hugged her tightly without thinking.

"I know Raph.." she sniffled. She pulled away from him and left the lair.

Alexis walked along the empty streets of New York City.

'Here I am.. homeless.. again.. alone.' She thought as he kicked a pebble. All she could think about were the tears streaming down Raphael's face. She felt a few more hot tears roll down her already hot cheeks. Without thinking, she started singing.

"I'm so tired of being here
Suppressed by all my childish fears
And if you have to leave
I wish that you would just leave
'Cause your presence still lingers here
And it won't leave me alone." Tears already rolling down her face as she sang. "These wounds won't seem to heal, this pain is just too real.

You still have all of me." By now, she was on her knees sobbing. After what seemed like an hour or two of crying, she heard a familiar voice.

"Hello, Alexis." The familiar voice spoke. She looked up and widened her eyes.

"K-Karai?" She whimpered.

"You're coming with me, you little brat." Karai hissed, roughly grabbing her arm.

"No!" Alexis screamed. "Get off me!" Karai only tightened her grip.

"Shut up!" She yelled. Alexis panicked and screamed the first name that came to mind.

"RAPHAEL! HELP ME!!" She screamed into the darkness, hoping with all her heart that he would hear her.

"I said shut up!" Karai slapped her wet teary face.

"Ow!" She squealed. "RAPHAEL HELP ME PLEASE!!" She screamed toward the nearest storm drain.

'Please help me Raphie....' she thought she was dragged away by Karai. She didn't struggle anymore. She knew death was to come. She destroyed the only way they could find her. She accepted the fact that she would soon die.

"I love you too Raphael.." she whispered to nobody but herself.
