Author's Note:

PLEASE READ!

To those of you who haven't checked the tags, this is a rosekook/jirose/taerose story. It may have already been evident in the chapters published. I am trying really hard to give each of the ships a scene in each update. However, the top priority here is the plot. So if the plot demands for a certain ship to not interact yet. Then I will not push it just for the sake of creating a scene for specific ships.

In line with this, I am asking you to be patient.

First of all, Rosekook doesn't have much sweet interaction in the first few chapters because of their relationship dynamic. They are supposed to start off as enemies, and I would like to build that up. It would be weird that after just two chapters of fighting each other, they'd end up as lovers. I'd prefer it to be organic and realistic. This is the reason why there are a lot of Jirose scenes. Because Jimin's relationship with Chaeyoung in this story is established from Jimin's interest in Chaeyoung the moment, they met. The same goes for Bamlisa, Lishope, Yoonnie, Jenkai, and all the other tags. Their nonexistence at this point of the story is demanded by the plot and not just because I don't like the ship and am using them for click-baiting or what.

Second, I will never spoil my story. I will not tell you who Chaeyoung would end up with in this story. I specifically made this story to get the readers hooked with its element of uncertainty. If I tell you that rosekook or jirose or taerose would end up together as early as the 7th chapter, there is no sense in creating all the moments for each of the ship.

I really appreciate all of you guys' comments and votes! I just need to put it out there because I am really scared of offending or discouraging a certain shipper just because I put their ship in the tag, yet they have little interaction in the story. Patience is a virtue. I love you all!

Chaeyoung sighed deeply as the elevator door opened, relieved that she could finally get out of the lift. She felt like she was going to suffocate inside, with students squeezing in and gossiping ... about her ... Not even minding the fact that she was in the same place with them.

"Imagine working at a Café. She might be really poor to do that."

"To think that she isn't just working as a server, she works part-time as a delivery girl as well."

"I'm not really comfortable having people like her in A-High. It makes the University cheap."

When Chaeyoung said she doesn't really care bout what people say towards her, she meant it. But it does not mean she'd love her private life to be out in the open for everyone's scrutiny. That was what exactly is happening to her. To start her third week in A-High, the whole school is gossiping about her working in a Café.
