Ballice's pov
"I can't believe you two flew all the way here just to get my sister." Zila muses picking a whip from the ground. It's more of a thin stick that fall from the tree we're sitting under, outside their house.
"I know right?" I smirk eyeing him. "Do you want to whip me?" I ask amused by the way she's swaying it in the air as if practicing something.
" Of course, brace yourself kid." She teases grabbing my hand then bending my back." She lifts the cane as if to land it on my back but drops it again and she starts laughing.
"You don't even flinch!" She slaps me lightly with her hand laughing. "Thought you were a coward." She muses.
"I know you won't do that, albeit am not a coward. " I smile.
" Wow, more reason why Tleigh is head over heels for you." She giggles like a school girl.
" You can say so." I chuckle lightly and I hear a car honking. Looking at the gate, I see the car dad rented.
"Wow they're back!" Zila chirps standing from her seat.
Both mr Kenneth and miss Cassandra went out on a date today. What's funny, they went back to where they first met, where they created me. On that bar, that VIP section. Crazy right?
When we landed here, we spent a night on an hotel suite, the next day we surprised my mother when we showed up at their house without even knocking. The gate was left open so, we went direct in without much ado.
They have a small house with two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs. A small kitchen and a small sitting room but it's homey if you could ask me. Their compound is surrounded with big acacia trees, I can say it's just so okay.
When they saw us, they literally screamed, Cassandra herself cried. The kids were so happy, especially my little buddy who had missed me, Lodzin was also happy to see me.
It was awkward between my parents but I don't know how they talked it out since we had to give them privacy some time later.
That night we were forced to sleep at their place, we had no choice than to oblige. So I had slept upstairs on one of the guest rooms with my buddies since they never wanted to let me go. Dad was on the next room too and the sisters slept downstairs on their supposed bedrooms I guess.
So I realized that in my mother's family, they were born three kids, all of them girls. Their older sister lives in New York city, shock. She has three kids both girls, another little shock.
I don't know how it happened to us signing out of that hotel we'd rented to us staying here completely. Zila and Cassandra must have talked us to it, those two can be so persuasive I'd you don't know them.
"Wow, look who we have here!" I shout after opening the gate for them.
They park their car under some tree and my father clambers our first, then he goes to open the door for my beautiful mother.
All the time, am watching, waiting patiently for them. "Such a gentleman." I mutter rolling my eyes.
"Always." My dad winks at me before taking my mum's hand in his.
What's not happening? My eyes pops out looking at their joined hands as they come towards us, big grins printed on their faces.
"What's with all that affection?" I ask.
"Something has changed." Zila agrees with me swaying the cane in her hand their way.
And then just like on command, when they're close enough, my mum flashes us her hand and I see a beautiful ring sitting on her finger, it has a small diamond crystal cut embedded at the centre. Almost the same at the one I got Kellane but it's a little thicker.
