Ballice's pov

"What?"

"Yes and that's final. You're not taking my daughter anywhere." Mr Smith says the words coming out with an edge and each word that leaves his mouth weighs me down than the last.

"It's okay. I can't disobey you."

"Thank you Ballice. The only mistake you did is that you proposed to my daughter without my knowledge. So you disrespected me. "

" What? I didn't respect you uncle. I didn't know you'll feel that way. " I defend myself. I can feel sweat forming on my forehead.

"That's how I felt." He says smoothly shrugging his shoulders at the same time.

" I'm sorry. " My voice comes out barely audible.

"You should just go back home and prepare for Christmas Eve you know."

I feel like snorting at the mention of Christmas Eve but I nod regardless forcing out a smile. We've never celebrated that shit.

"Dad!" I hear her voice as I am about to stand up from my seat. Sitting back, I look up to find an entirely unprepared for sight.
For a moment there, I just stare at her unblinking.

"Hold your horses up son." Mr smith pushes my chin up with a finger making me wake up from my daydream. I had started imagining the things I can do to her if she wasn't wearing that dress that was hugging her but my eyes and mouth are just too good at giving me away.

"Dad that's enough! You've humiliated the boy enough already. I heard you." She walks towards his dad and kisses one of his cheeks.

"I wish you saw his face, I swear I can pay to watch him tense again!" Mr smith excitedly comments.

I can't believe he was just playing with me and here I almost peed on my pants.

" Dad!" This time her voice comes out louder and she pushes his father back on his seat lightly. " Remember who we're talking about here. He's just not one of your minions back at work, he's my boyfriend for crying out loud."

" And he's my godson for pete's sake." He jokes along.

" Ughh... Shall we?" She smiles sweetly at me ignoring his dad.

" Can we?" I look back at Mr Smith who is wearing a very wide smile at his face he might hurt his cheeks.

"Take care please." He starts laughing and this time Kellane bends down to him and whispers something to his ears which makes him laugh harder. I can see the fake anger in Kellane's eyes.

"I'll get back at you." Kellane says before shutting the door behind us.

" I'm sorry about dad, he's always like that if you've not gotten used to him." She tells me as we walk towards their lawn where I parked my car.

"Tleeeeeeeee.... Wait!!!" I see a young lady running towards us. There's a little resemblance between my princess and her but she's a little taller and her face is a little thinner. But she has curves just like kellane but her hair is not that long as that for kellane.

"Are you crazy Hesnah? Are you going with us?" Kellane questions her resting her hands on her waist distastefully.

"Cut the crap you clogged mind." She stops infront of us, bends crouching her knees as she breathes heavily. After around a minute of us staring at her , waiting her to gain back her breath, she finally stands up straight. "Hi." She smiles sweetly at me. "I'm Hesnah, her youngest Aunt." She says stretching her hand out for me to shake.

I shake her hand back. "Hi, I'm---"

"Ballice, her cute boyfriend." She finishes off. What a drama queen.

" Wow, I see you know me." I smile dropping her hand.

"Cut the drama Hessy, we're running late. What do you want?" I can feel Kellane running impatient.

" Excuse me, I did a favour of coming down here to give you your phone but I think I should just return it back since you clearly don't seem to be pleased with my presence." Hesnah flashes the phone on Kellane's face and returns it back to her pocket.

" Oh! Please don't return it back! I love you Auntie !" Kellane jumps next to her and slips her hands under Hesnah's arms hugging her.

"So it's today you remember that I'm your auntie?"

"Hesnah give my phone!" She snaps unwrapping her hands from her. " I'm going to tell you that whole story when I'll be back later. I swear."

" Promise me." Hesnah holds out her pinky finger.

" I promise." Kellane ties his pinky finger with Hesnah's pulling it back and then Hesnah gives back the phone smiling.

"Pleasure to meet you handsome lover boy, okay treat my niece like the queen she really is." Hesnah says snapping her fingers motioning us to leave already.

"Like the princess she really is." I correct her.

"Heck straight. Why did I even forget she's your princess?"

"You knew?" I ask her unbelievably.

" Let's gooooo!" Kellane snaps at me dragging me all the way to the lawn and Hesnah runs back into the house laughing.

"She did your make up I think." I say looking at how different she looks today. Her hair is not falling freely as usual. It's tied up into a neat bun with a few strands running on her sides.

"She did everything for me."

"You are lucky."

"Maybe." She shrugs her shoulders.

"You never mentioned to me that your mother's younger sister was at your place."

"Well, she just arrived yesterday. We found her at home when we got back from our date with dad." She answers opening the passenger door roughly after dropping her hand from my leather coat.

"What was that?" I breath out heavily once we settle in our respective seats in the car.

"That." She leans in and kisses the daylights out of me leaving me dumbstruck.

I lick my lips smirking at her after she withdraws from the kiss.

"You should have just told me that you wanted some time alone with your cute boyfriend instead of dragging me here rudely. Were you that much craved princess?" I raise a brow at her but she assumes slapping my cheek lightly.

"Are you revving up the engine or are we going to just stare at each other here all night?" She questions back.

" Impatient that much?" I quirk up my lip trying hard not to smile.

" Shut up and drive us to wherever place you had planned."

"Wow, I like my women feisty just like that."

" Your women?"

Oh boy. It was just a joke, c'mon princess.

"My woman. My lady. My girl." I correct but I don't miss the way her lips are slightly curling up. She bites her lower lip so hard trying to diffuse a smile that is tugging there.

"Drive!" She commands rather harshly.

"Yes ma'am." I smile and with that I drive us out of their lawn.

I like her authoritative sometimes. Even when she's feisty she still manages to pull a cute look on her face.
