We are both standing beside his enormous pool now. The evening orange rays peeking from the tall trees behind us are being reflected in the pool waters making the sight picturesque.

"Mr Kenneth." I start.

"You know you can call me uncle, you don't have to be that formal." I give him a shy smile nodding.

" Uncle,"  Wow I breathe. "How're you?" I ask.

"I'm fine, how about you." He asks and I know he's questioning himself where this conversation is heading to.

"I'm good..." I trail. I look up at him and focus now. "You know she likes you too." I blurt.

"Who? What are you talking about?" Now he looks like his son, the way I left him appalled.

"Cassandra." I answer his question.

"What, I don't know what you are talking about kid." He looks so agitated.

"You can deny all you want but I know you love her too. I saw how your eyes lit up when talking about her." I whisper now.

" You know nothing."

" I know everything." He gazes at me appalled still. " He's your son with her." I add.

"Who, what are you telling me?" His voice is now strained.

" Ballice." His eyes pop out. " Remember the filipino woman you slept with at Quezon City almost nineteen years ago? The woman who was a virgin." I press on assuming his eyes which are now sauced out. "She was Cassandra."

"No." He spits.

"Yes." I hiss.

He frowns. " Why are you telling me this."

" Because it's the truth and you should know!" I blurt out again frustratingly.

" Who told you?" At least we're getting there now, uncle.

" She told me herself. It's more like I forced the words out of her mouth after I noticed something strange with his reaction towards Ballice." I explain.

And then he asks for the whole story and so I lounge into narrating everything I know.

" No wonder I trusted the woman with my kid always. She treated him how exactly a mother should treat her own kid, something Odessa never did." He says softly almost in a whisper but I manage to hear him.

"Yes, that's why." I say.

He smiles opening his arms out and a tear streams down his so well structured face. What? He wants to hug me? He nods confirming my suspicions. And I move into his arms nervously wrapping my hands around his back. I rest my head on his so hard stomach, I know someone who has a stomach like this! Wait, he works out! Christ Jesus!

"You little fox." He murmurs stroking my hair slowly. "I knew all the changes in Ballice were made possible by you. But now I can't believe you even found out this big secret that has been kept for so long. I wish she told me earlier enough, I was also a coward too. You were right. I love her. I've loved her ever since she stepped foot into my house." He admits and slowly I unwrap my hands staring up at him unbelievably.

"What?" I squeak out my surprise.

"You heard me." He smirks just like his son somewhere whom I'm well acquainted with! Wow.

Hold on. I unlock my phone quickly running to the contact list to search the name Cas, finding it, I dial her number, on the third ring she picks up and her sweet voice comes barreling through the speaker.

"Hey, hello my dear, how're you today?" I smile at his lively voice now. She has been having fears that Ballice will never forgive her.

"I'm good Cas." I reply enthusiastically marching her energy. "How's Christmas over there, what's the time? We are from different zones now."
