Tleigh's pov
"Honey." Cassandra smiles broadly at me as she pushes a bowl of cereals to me, which I eye doubting my stomach. It's past dinner, we already ate and everyone is asleep now.
After dinner I remained seated not knowing what to feel or do next. Cassandra joined me in the sitting room moments later after tucking Bruce in his bed.
"It took you long to visit, I almost thought that we wronged you." She pouts.
"Oh Cass what possibly could you do to wrong me?" I snort. "You barely even hurt a fly." She swats my arm laughing lowly.
"I've never seen you since we came back from the Phillippines, it's been so long." She keeps complaining.
"It's been just eight months Cass." I peel a banana and take a very big bite.
"Almost a year." She rolls her eyes.
"Typical mother." I mumble taking another bite.
"Hey, I've heard you. By the way, I've noticed something." She giggles.
What's with Cass today? She's acting almost like a teenager.
"And what's that?" I ask full mouthed.
"Your appetite is so astounding, no offense though." She raises a hand.
I stop chewing for a minute there and I look down a little shyly. I can't control it. I know that.
"Yeah." I squeak out.
"It's okay. Oh sweetie, you gotta tell me the body lotion you do use now days. And the cream or jelly you use on your face, you're glowing!"
Am I really glowing as everyone puts it?
If so, then I think I know why...
"Huh, it's the same jelly Cass, you're being dramatic now." I chuckle lightly. "And you're now fat." I observe.
Her face falls. "I know."
"You're cute not that am body shaming you." I reply quickly after noticing her mood change.
"But I can't do anything about it." She curls her lips sideways.
"And you shouldn't." I smile making her lips curl up.
"I've been sick the past months." She starts.
"So I heard, I'm really sorry."
"No, it's fine, I'm okay now." Her face is glowing but she's so hell bent on asking the kind of body oil I use.
Typical Cassandra.
She takes the bowl of cereal she gave me and starts munching on it.
Huh... She's so unlike her today.
"You just ate a bowl of cereal not so long ago." I scowl at her.
"And that might be the sixth banana you're taking since you came here." She smirks.
Exactly like a certain someone. Reminds me so much of him.
Well she might be right on that, beside my chocolates, I eat any type of fruits. Be it carrots, wait is a carrot a fruit? I think it is huh.
"Me and ken are having a baby." Cassandra blurts surprising herself, her eyes bulging out.
"What?" I squeak out.
"I've known for two months now." She continues.
"You're having a baby." I say trying to digest it slowly. "You are pregnant."
