Ballice's pov

I squint my eyes at the amount of light in my room. Everything feels strange even my head is pounding. I feel like it's weighing me tones down. And one thing that's for sure, I feel her scent like she's here. No matter the place or time, I'll know her scent.

I get up slowly trying not to flinch at the way my body aches. My eyes are also trying to adjust at the insane amount of light in the room. They move to the clock on the wall and it reads freaking 11.29 a.m. Just great.

I'm not drinking again.

I look at my side table and I see a glass of water and tablets. A smile starts forming but it's replaced immediately with a frown.

I Know my mother is a great woman, really. She deserves more and I really should stop worrying her.

I pop the two tablets into my mouth and take a chug of water before sauntering to the bathroom sluggishly.

I let the cold water sting my skin...wait I don't know how I got here. And how the fuck did I strip...no... My mom didn't strip me.

Oh my God!

I hope she wasn't the one who got rid of my jeans and shirt!

After getting out of the shower I feel like my head is slowing down. And my vision is more clear and I don't think am delusional for feeling her strong scent in my room. Not just her Victoria's secret perfume, even her jasmine and strawberry shampoo invades my senses.

Lord the torture I'll have to go through.

After dressing up, I walk downstairs to my mother having her breakfast on the sitting room and the amount of food in her bowl is really astounding.

"You'll finish that?" I eye the food in her bowl. "Really?" I add raising a brow. "Chinese takeout early this morning?"

"What." She glares teasingly at me. "Why can't you just say you need a share?" Her lips twitches.

"I ask straight away." I snort looking around. "Where's everyone?"

"Be specific." Her eyes dance humorously.

"Everyone." I repeat getting annoyed. Why is she smiling that big?

"Bruce school, your dad business trip, Tleigh at their place."

"Do you really have to rub her in?" I ask getting angry. This is why I don't like coming here. She likes making fun of me, if not that, she'll be nagging.

Don't get me wrong. I really like my mother but you'll only get enough of her each time. She's the most infuriating creature when it comes to sticking her businesses into my dead relationship with Tleigh.

"What?" Her eyes widens. "I thought you asked about the people who you expected to be here right now."

"And you deemed her necessary too?" I sneer.

"Ballice what's wrong with you?" Her voice raises.

My mother never raises her voice at me.  Never.

"Your drunk ass can't remember anything from last night, isn't that so?" She quirks up a brow.

What? Now it's my turn to get shocked.

She snorts. "Oh yeah." She takes a spoonful of noodles looking away.

Motherfreakingshit!

So that scent wasn't just me hallucinating?
Well well well.

Why would she come here anyway?

"Who stripped me?" I blurt out. I want to confirm my thoughts.
