Ballice's POV

To say that one girl had captured my attention in more ways than one would be an understatement of the year. It was always her in my head but I didn't know a broken heart can push you to go beyond limits.

I just needed to forget and pouring my soul into studying helped and at the end of every semester I can't say I yielded less. It was more than you could ask for.

My apartment is always messy almost every each other day and that's why today I'm taking this time, free of exams, studies and Kellane fever to clean it up.

Cans of food and take out boxes of food lie everywhere. I can be everything in a person but tidy or neat.

I walk to my woofer and put up loud volume of music before I start working. I need music because it's the only thing that makes a world a place to live and it makes life easier a little bit. It's cheesy but that's just about it.

It soothes and cleanses souls in a good way.

I can't do without music nor my guitar.

After am done cleaning and putting everything in it's right place, I sigh loudly admiring the work I have done as a sheer of sweat breaks on my forehead.

Am all sweaty, I pull my t-shirt over my head and walk into the bathroom but before I barely make it in, my doorbell rings and I pad towards ut to check who it is.

I didn't order any food so I think it's not my delivery man.

Opening the door, am not surprised to be met by Chesca's form of a person.

"What do you want?" I frown trying hard not to sneer.

Her eyes roam all over my body hungrily and before I can slam my door on her face she jumps and places her leg on the slit like space between the door and the wall.

"I want to talk with you." She says now looking at me straight in the eyes.

"About what?" I scowl at her.

"Tleigh."

Huh.

I push her off the door but she tightens her hands around it.

"Please Ballice. It's important." My eyes involuntarily pop out.

"What happened to her?" I panic.

"Can I come in please?"

I open the door wide to let her in.

"Talk!" I literally yell at her.

"Tleigh is okay, she has moved on. She's happy and I want you to be just as her."

Damnit.

Is this what brought her here? I look at her disgust evident all over my face but the look she's giving me, it's like she's not catching on how am feeling at the moment. She has this revolting smile on her face and I can't wait too long before I wipe it off her face.

"Chesca." I say her name slowly trying to keep my cool. She nods her lips stretching widely. "Go back to where you came from." I order.

"Bally, I've always been on your right side. I've been with you in the same classes for two semesters. I want you to notice me too, I want you to want me just as much as I want you. Stop pushing me away. Stop mopping over Tleigh, she'll always choose her family over you. She made that decision, to leave you alone. To let you find someone better..."

She keeps babbling and my head switch turns off. I only see her lips moving and my mind is now occupied by Kellane.

Waking up from my stupor I only catch on her last words;

"...She said that you can have me if you don't want Maya. She understands that her daughter can be one piece of a nut to crack."
She blinks.

"What are you talking about. Who is 'she'?"

She blinks again severally before she shakes her head. "No...oh my! Nobody." She smiles widely. Fake.

"Who told you Kellane chose her family over me? Who gave her the choices? I'm not getting you." She shakes her head profusely.

"I was just saying. Uhmmm... Can't you see. She's with her family and she's happy... She---"

"You don't know what you're talking about. Just leave!" I growl out.

"Ballice..." She scoots closer to me on my sofa. I watch as she eyes my bare chest before she swallows loudly. Her fingers twitch and she raises them up but before she lands them on my chest, I grab her arm, suspending it in the air.

"Go home!" I command her. "Now!" I growl loudly.

She flinches before standing up ubruptly. "I like you." She says before walking to the door.

"Out now!" I growl more loudly making her jump.

"I'll come back until you accept me. I'll never give up." She juts her lips together, she then steps out after closing the door behind her.

My thoughts are now jumbled than before and I feel like they are scattered all over the place. I can't think straight and as I take the cold shower, I only want something strong to make me feel at least numb.

I don't want to think anymore.

***

Am overly drunk, I know it but I can't bring myself to stop drinking.

I walked to the bar downtown and asked for the strongest bottle of alcohol.

But I just settled for a mix of scotch and vodka. It tastes like poison but it can do as well.

Am sitting on the stool by the counter drinking as I watch the mass of people dancing on the dancefloor.

I can't make out a full image of a person. Am just seeing double or triple images. The alcohol is kicking in.

A blonde girl wearing the reddest lipstick I've ever seen before takes a seat on the stool next to me.

"Hey." She stretches her lips widely. I want to puke at that smile.

"Hey." I reply regardless.

"You're so handsome." She says stretching her hand. "Am Lini."

"Lini." I nod.

"No Lyn, L_Y_N." She muses.

"Yes Liiini." I slur out. She groans.

"Whatever." She drawls out rolling her eyes.

"But I like you. Even in your drunk state." She says cupping my cheek in one hand.

I pull her hand away.

"I... I only like bru.. brunettes, Blondie." I drag out. "Infact I only like one brunette." I smile my eyes getting heavy.

"It's okay. I'll make you feel good just right about now. Let's go?" She gives me her hand to take as she stands up.

"No... It's only her tha...thatttt makes meee feel betteeer."

She snorts. "Suit yourself." She sashays towards the dancefloor and mixes up with the crowd.

My eyes are heavy. Once I pay, I walk out into the cold night air. I sober up a bit the moment I'm hit with the coldness.

I find the valet I handed my keys and I literally beg her to drive me home. He accepts after I give her a lot of cash. It's always money you know.

"Home address sir?" The old baldy man asks.

"Hudson, roveller street house 16." I say my eyes starting to close.

Wait Hudson or Brooklyn? Ughhh

Yeah home is anywhere I have my own bed....

Did they say home is where your heart is?

Okay mine is in...

I zone out.
