"What do you mean by you quit?" Arielle asked.

"We had differing views...That is why I have decided to leave his side and work here," Garett said.

Did he recommend this tourist spot so that he could see Arielle one last time? Still a sly fox until the end...

"What about becoming the Marquis heir?" Arielle asked.

"I will only work here for a few years while undergoing a few lessons before my ascension as the next Marquis of Alvin. Then, I will return and continue running our fiefdom," Garett said.

"...It will not be the last that I am seeing of you then," Arielle said quietly.

"Not by a mile," Garett answered with a small smile on his face.

"I think I am a bit jealous of your job. You get to be surrounded by so many books everyday," Arielle said.

"Would you like to stay here...with me?" Garett asked.

"Are you proposing to her?" I asked.

"Charlotte! I do not think he meant anything like that!" Arielle said panicky.

"...In a way, she is not wrong," Garett said as his face slowly changed color. "We could use someone with your skills here..."

Look at that...Your intentions are all over your face. You have become bold ever since Arielle is no longer betrothed to His Highness.

"...It seems like a nice place here, Arielle," I said as I held her hand and smiled.

"...You have given me a lot to think about," Arielle said seriously.

"Take as long as you need," Garett said as he turned to leave.

"...You are still blushing," I whispered in Arielle's ear.

"Charlotte, you are such a tease..."

Arielle contacted her aunt and had servants from her house pick us up from the library. Afterwards, we left with them and met with Arielle's aunt Duchess Bernadette Wordsworth. She had beautiful rose colored hair and citrus colored eyes. She welcomed us warmly with open arms. Unlike her sister Duchess Maddox, she was extremely expressive and did not mind physical means of affection.

"I am so glad to see you Arielle...and Charlotte?" Duchess Wordsworth said.

"Yes, my name is Charlotte Castile," I said.

"Welcome to my home! I hope that you two will enjoy staying here with me," Duchess Wordsworth said.

Arielle's aunt was such a bright person compared to Arielle's family that I was slightly surprised.

"Thank you for allowing me to stay as well," I said.

"Any friend of Arielle is welcome in my home," Duchess Wordsworth said.

Arielle and I cleaned up in our respected rooms before going having dinner with the Marquis and Arielle's aunt.

"Thank you for joining us for dinner, Lady Castile and Lady Arielle," Duke Wordsworth said.

"It is an honor to be a guest of the Duke and Duchess whom I have heard only praises about," I said.

"Lady Arielle, your friend has such a glib tongue. You have found a good friend. Please enjoy your stay as long as you like," Duke Wordsworth said.

"Thank you...Uncle," Arielle said shyly.

"You are very welcome," Duke Wordsworth said with a warm smile. "Have you two been able to go sightseeing?"
