The rest was easy after that. The new Captain Agile Fueler proved his efficiency in rotating the Guards and changing the training regimes for the current as well as new Knights. In just a few days, it seemed as if everyone was much happier with Captain Aaron gone as he had often abused the Knights as well as female servants.

If there was one person still unhappy, it would be Arielle herself. I often found her working on documents from early in the morning until late at night. Even then, she would often walk out alone in the middle of the night just to wander until she would be tired enough to want to go to sleep.

I understand that there are some things that maybe she does not want to speak to me about, but it sure is lonely from not being able to do anything for her.

Within a month, an Oath Ceremony was held for Arielle in her honor. It was a joyous occasion for most Knights as they had grown deeply fond of her for having stood up to the previous Captain and instated Agile Fueler as the new Captain. It should be a joyous occasion for everyone, but I found that Arielle still lacked the heart to be truly happy for anything.

One day she overworked herself to the point of fainting. Luckily, Captain Agile Fueler was there to help her into the bedroom inside of her office. She received treatment afterwards, but nothing could help the exhaustion inside of her heart.

It was much later when I decided to bring Eli back into the castle. He had grown to the spry age of three before either Arielle or I knew it. To think that this day would be the very first time that Arielle would see her own child after his birth.

For the first time in a long time, Arielle wore something other than black and put on a bright yellow dress with yellow ribbons in her hair. She paced around her parlor nervously and held her hands together as she did so.

I cannot remember the last time I saw her nervous tic. I could not help but smile at the sight of my best friend looking as if she reverted back to her self from our Academy days.

A knock from the door startled Arielle and caused her to jump. I chuckled to myself quietly enough so that Arielle would not notice me laughing at her.

"It is Stella. I have brought the young Prince," Stella announced.

Arielle couched to clear her throat before speaking.

"...You may come in," Arielle said as she fixed her posture.

The doors soon opened to reveal Stella walking in while holding the hand of Eli wearing a cute white and blue striped navy style outfit with a matching white hat and blue ribbons.

I watched Arielle's reaction. She had frozen in place with a complicated look on her face. A few moments later, tears fell down from both sides of her face as she walked towards her son. She then kneeled and brought Eli into her loving embrace. Eli who seemed a bit perplexed by the stranger hugging him decided to hug Arielle back as she silently cried over his shoulder.

Stella and I could not help but cry at their touching reunion as well.

They could finally be reunited...at long last!

It did not take much long afterwards for Eli to get attached to Arielle from how they spent nearly every moment beside each other. Of course it was a bit difficult to watch Arielle bring her son with her even during her political meetings, but at least she gave us time to take him to get his naps in.

Even if this person tries to keep an expressionless face, she cannot hide her doting nature!

"I have ordered the tailor to come here to get his measurements again," Arielle said as she continued working on her documents.
