I went home and waited for news about His Majesty punishing Queen Gaelle's collaborators. For the entirety of the next month, it was probably the bloodiest month ever since the death of several members of the Royal Family during King Arundel's time. There were at least three or four beheadings of sinners everyday.

Queen Gaelle remained imprisoned in the Tower of Solitude with an indefinite ban on visitors. Prince Erik's house arrest was lifted; however, he was continuously subjected to volunteer and mission work as per his community service agreement. His lover Lady Kaya, she had continued to pester His Majesty on giving back Prince Erik's suspended privileges until she was officially banned from entering the Royal Castle.

Neither of us were able to return to Nariel from how busy we all became after that huge fiasco. His Majesty has made Garett take over the Prince's former duties during this time of unrest. As for Arielle...she is happier than ever after making her relationship with Garett public. She and Garett received the blessings of nearly everyone in the kingdom. Flower bouquets were sent to her home everyday, blessing the newly found couple. I am currently sifting through her flowers and helping Arielle redecorate her house with the flowers sent to her home.

"...There are just too many," I complained as I smacked my own lower back to get out the disturbing creaking noises.

"I was not expecting this many congratulations. Some of these bouquets are also from Commoners. They are all saying good things about our relationship. I am very grateful for everyone's warm thoughts and prayers," Arielle said with a smile.

"...So, when will we be accepting flowers for when you two get engaged?" I asked.

"E-Engaged? I think it is too soon for something like that," Arielle said shyly. "Plus, we are both busy people. I will be succeeding my father as the next Duchess, while Garett will inherit his father's Marquis title."

I soon handed Arielle Queen Gaelle's letter.

"I was able to see her for a bit. She wanted you to have this," I said.

Arielle slowly opened the letter and smiled.

"She is wishing for my happiness and forgiveness after everything," Arielle said with a smile on her face.

Everything in the letter is falsified...At least it brings a smile onto Arielle's face and lessen the guilt she feels towards her situation.

"...I am glad that she was able to see the err of her ways," I said.

"My Lady, Sir Alvin has arrived," Stella said as she knocked on the door.

"Garett?"

Garett walked in fully dressed in a fancy suit and carried a large bouquet of pink roses in the shade of Arielle's hair color in his hands.

It would have been a more romantic gesture had it not been for the flower explosion that had already taken place. All Garett did was bring a second bomb to the party.

"I should just take these back with me," Garett said.

Arielle took the flowers from Garett and smiled tenderly.

"I will dress my bedside table with these," Arielle said sweetly. "Thank you, Garett."

"It...It is not like I did it for you!" Garett said bashfully.

I let out a tired sigh.

When will this person lose his immature side?

"I like this side of you as well," Arielle said.

Why does she always spoil him?

"I will take my leave first," I said quietly as I tried sneaking a few bouquets over to the next room.
