"Thanks for the dinner", I said.

"You're welcome", Fonzo answered.

"Uhm, pasok na ako ah? Curfew na eh."

"Wait, uhm, I hope this won't be the last time na you'll allow me to see you."

"I'll see you around", I said.

"Goodluck on your game tomorrow Miks."

"Thank you", I said and went inside.

Mika has a game today. Today's the day. I know she's mad at me. But I need to move my butt and start pursuing her. Hindi naman ako magpapakita sa kanya. I'll just sit somewhere, iyong hindi niya ako makikita. And I'll just try to talk to her after the game. Puntahan ko na lang siya sa dorm.

The game's about to start when I arrived. Sa lower box ako umupo, not the usual sidelines though. But I'm fine. I just want to see her. I was watching very intensely when I noticed someone familiar. He's wearing a cap and is sitting a few seats away from me. It's Fonzo. Nilapitan ko.

"Uy Fonz, ginagawa mo dito? Wala namang game ALE ah?"

"Uy Kief, you're here."

"Of course, as always. I should be asking you? Ikaw ha, sinong lady spiker na naman ang nakapana sa isang agila?

"Wala ah. I was just in the area kanina. Eh may laro pala, so nood muna, traffic pa din kasi pauwi."

"Talaga lang ah? Teka, hulaan ko iyan. Hindi na pwede ai Kianna kasi may Espejo na iyon. Si Des may Clint na. I'm sure na kay Carol, Majoy, Cams, Cienne or Justine lang iyan. Ano, sagot bro!"

"Haha. Wala nga. Hindi ba pwedeng gusto ko lang manood?"

"Okay, fine. But if meron talaga, tell me ah. Sayang, di kita matutulungan sa ngayon. Bad shot pa ako kay Mika eh."

"Hindi pa kayo nag uusap?"

"No eh. She won't answer my calls. Banned din ako sa dorm and house nila. Pati ata sa Taft eh. But I'll try my luck later. Puntahan ko sa dorm."

"Huwag."

"Huh?"

"I mean, let is pass muna kaya. I saw what you did to her. Ang lala nun bro. Maybe she needs space?"

"I know, I know. My bad talaga. That's why I'll do everything to win her back. Ngayon pa, her fanboys are out again. Badtrip, ang dami ko nanamang nababasang tweets.  Nabalitaan ata na na malabo kami ngayon. Pati mga kasama natin sa UAAP na fanboys niya, nakakainis, nakaka lalaki na."

"Eh what will you do to them?", Fonzo asked.

"Ang bumangga, giba. Hindi ako papayag. We just have a problem, but I know it will be fixed soon. So huwag silang umasa that they will have a chance on Mika. It's not gonna happen bro."

"Ang ganda", Fonzo said.

"Nino?", I asked.

"Ni Fajardo."

"Huh?"

"I mean, yung set ni Fajardo oh, ang ganda. Quick hit ni Mika. Galing niya."

"Oh yeah. She has really improved. I'm proud of her", I said.

"Me too."

"Ano bro?"

"Me too, nagagalingan na ako sa kanya."

"Of course. And pretty, very pretty", I said.

"Oo naman", Fonzo agreed.

The game ended with Mika's team getting all three sets. It's now time for me to wait for her outside. Hindi naman ako magpapakita, as I've said. I'll just wait inside my car, and I'll proceed to her dorm right after. I'm sure they have a team dinner, so I'll just wait for her sa dorm. Bahala na.
