Oh our way home after that loss against NU tonight. It's our first loss for the season and the team is currently standing at 3-1. Bad game? Yes. But we'll definitely bounce back. Just to ease things out, my Mom and my Tita invited some of my teammates and the squad for a simple dinner at home.  And of course, Mika. She's actually driving swiftie right now with me as her passenger. Nasa kabilang car yung iba and my teammates. Sad that we lost, but this girl right here has changed my mood, that easy.

While on the road....

Mika: I'm hungry na grabee. You ba?

Kiefer: Yah.

Mika: Ano kaya food later? I'm sure masarap.

Kiefer: (and I just kept quiet, still thinking about how the game could have  turned out if I changed my game.)

Mika: Cge ka, pag di ka nagsalita diyan, wala kang kiss and hug later.

Mika knows how to make me talk even if I'm not in the mood. Hindi niya kailangan sabihin na okay lang and bawi na lang next game. Ang agenda niya is to cheer me up by shifting my attention into other things. And she's good at it.

I held her right hand kasi sakto stoplight.

Kiefer: Later? Pwede bang now na lang babe?

Mika: Ano ka..

Kiefer: Pretty please?

How can I say no to Kiefer at this point? They lost. And I know how he feels about it. Pero sure ako, gagamitin niyang excuse yun para magpalambing. Haha. But seeing his pacute face, makakatanggi ba ako? So quickly gave him a kiss on his left cheek. Sakto go na yung sign after.

Kiefer: Babe, cheek lang?

Mika: Kiefer ah..I'm driving, wag ka magulo diyan.

Nakakatuwa talaga si Mika. Alam ko naman na kung hindi kami natalo, she won't be doing this. She won't be giving in to my requests. Yun pa, lakas mambitin kaya nun. I rememer tuloy that Suzuki company party, doon nagumpisa to eh.

Yes, that Suzuki company party ang may sala. I had no idea that they got Mika as my co ambassador. Nung nandoon na ako, nagulat na lang ako when i saw her. And so I learned that she just signed her contract prior to that. It was a party, so medyo naka get up ang mga tao. While i was in my long sleeves, Mika was in her little black dress. I was speechless. We were with some of the bosses and I kept thinking of the word "gorgeous" while looking at her. And she didn't even know how beautiful she was that night, in fact, she's just not aware at all that she is everyday. And that moment when she said "hello", I knew right then that that night will not end without me making a move. I took a risk. I asked her to have coffee with me. She's not aware that I was carefully observing her every move that night. She drinks wine, I look. She laughs, I stare. She smiles, I died, several times. And when she was about to leave, I had to wait before the exit. And to make the long story short, the coffee date happened.

At first, Mika was shy. Isang tanong isang sagot lang. But everything changed when I cracked a joke. Tawa siya ng tawa. And i couldn't be happier. She was getting comfortable with me. Nagjojoke na rin siya and may pagka bully. "This girl", I told myself. But I was already contemplating if should get her number or not at that very moment. Pero naisip ko, baka isipin naman niya mabilis ako. Do I have to let her know na single na ako ulit? Kasi baka nasa isip niya may gf pa din ako and hindi na pumayag if I ask her out again. Pero nag aya na siya umuwi, she has training pa daw kasi kinabukasan. So I just thought of asking for it some other time. Ayoko ding biglain. We were on our way back to the parking lot and so I asked where her car was. Nabigay na pala sa kanya yung suzuki car niya. And yeah, we have the same car.
