The past few weeks had been pretty much fine between me and Kiefer. We were inseparable. Despite our ongoing respective commitments, we still manage to find time for each other. Although there were times when I felt like his eyes just wanted to shut down coz of exhaustion, he didn't make me feel like seeing me after a tiring day was a burden.

It's a Saturday and he's got a game at 2pm. We talked about it last night and he promised that we're going to watch a movie after. I'm currently watching and patiently waiting for it to be over for I'm very much excited for the movie. Unfortunately, they didn't win, and his score wasn't that impressive. They made their exit and so I went to the dugout to meet him there.

"Good game, still", I said, trying to lighten up his mood.

"7 points? What's good with that?", he said.

"But your assists were great that's why your teammates were able to contribute as well."

"But still, we didn't win. A loss is a loss."

"Babe, just make bawi. Okay?", I said while grabbing his arms for an embrace. But he didn't let me.

"Let's go", he said.

I can feel how disappointed he is right now, and for that, I am doing my best to be extra patient.

"I'm excited for the movie though", I said while heading to his car.

"Uhm, can we just cancel it?", he answered.

"Huh? Why?"

"I'm a bit tired. I might just fall asleep inside the movie house."

"Ahhh. Okay. Let's just eat then."

"Okay", he said.

He's currently driving and his silence is killing me. I wanted to break it, but he's just not in the mood. But still, I tried.

"So, can we watch the movie tomorrow instead?", I eagerly asked.

"The movie will not be replaced until two or three weeks from now. There's enough time for that."

"Ohh, so what's our plan for tomorrow?"

"Bahala na", he said.

And from that moment, I already refused to say a word. I just let him drive. I don't want to add up to his mood which is currently not so good.

We arrived at Eastwood and as much as I wanted to take the initiative, I still asked him.

"Babe, where do you want to eat? Are you craving for something?"

"I'm craving for a good sleep. So please let's just make this quick. You decide."

I'm at loss for words, but my patience is still working for me. And even if the food isn't really that good, I decided to take him to this not so crowded restaurant for a speedier service.

He's obviously not enjoying his food at the moment, and All I could do is to pretend that I am.

"Tara na?", I said after paying our bill.

"Tara. Hatid na kita", he said.

I was a bit shocked coz it's a Saturday and it means a sleep over. But I didn't push it. I think he's really that tired and exhausted that he just wanted to sleep soundly.

"Uhm, you look so sleepy already. I'll just get a cab if you want, so you can go home na and take a rest", I said.

And I wasn't even ready for his answer.

"Yah. Much better", he said.

"Ahhh yah. That's what I thought. I'll just wait sa taxi lane. You don't have to wait for me until makasakay ako."
