Irreplaceable

"Just like that?"

"Wow. You're really asking me that question? Unbelievable Mika. You're unbelievable."

"You're the one who's unbelievable Kief. I thought you'll never let me go. I thought we'll take this to forever? What happened?"

"Damn mika. Damn. Who broke up with whom??? Answer me. Ako ba? Sino ba ang nagtaboy? Ako ba? You pushed me away from you!!!!"

"But you didn't do anything. You just walked away."

"What? Seriously? What do you want me to do? Beg? Gusto mo talaga yung magmakaawa ako sayo at habulin ka? I've already done that so many times Mika. And it pains me to think that you're actually enjoying the fact that I always chase after you. Hindi mo man lang naisip na nasasaktan din ako. You find pleasure in seeing me acting so desperate for your attention."

Mika kept quiet for a while. I can feel that she's close to crying. And it hurts me as well. But I'm out of control. I just want let this all out.

"What? Wala ka ng sasabihin? Tama ako diba? You think I won't find happiness anywhere else? I'm Kiefer Ravena Mika. I can get any woman I want. I can replace you any time I want."

"Kief, tama na. Sobra na yan", Pauly butted in.

And for a while, I felt like I've said enough.

"You know what, you're right. You're Kiefer Ravena. And it's a pleasure to hear those words from you. Thank you."

Mika left and I felt a sudden regret for the words that I've just uttered. Pauly's looking at me while shaking his head with disappointment.

"Labo mo naman Kief eh, foul yun", he said.

"Sorry. Hindi ko lang napigilan."

"Wag ka sa akin magsorry. Habulin mo. Kay Mika ka magsorry."

"And then what? Magmamaka awa na naman ako? Tapos ako na naman yung itataboy?"

"At iniisip mo talaga yan? Akala ko ba pag mahal mo, gagawin mo lahat? Kailan pa tumaas ang pride mo pagdating kay Mika?"

"Pauly naman. Bakit parang ako na yung may kasalanan dito?"

"Hindi ko sinabi na ikaw ang may kasalanan. O sige, she was wrong when she tried to play with your emotions. She was wrong when she broke up with you just like that. Pero tapos na yun eh. Now she showed up, humarap sayo ng maayos coz she wants you back. Hindi ko sinabing tanggapin mo na lang basta basta, pero hindi mo rin dapat binastos ng ganun. Si Mika yun pre. Si Mika yun. Yun yung babaeng pinangarap mo lang dati. Yun yung babaeng pag naiisip mo, kahit tulog ka ata eh napapangiti ka. Wala ka namang ibang gusto eh. Kahit ilang babae pa lumapit sayo, lolokohin mo lang sarili mo. Kasi si Mika lang. Taena. Uulitin ko pa ba? Andaming naka abang diyan oh. Mga lalaking ngitian lang ni Mika hulog na hulog na. Pero sino gusto niya? Ikaw lang din diba? Eh puta, napaka swerte mong gago ka. Ano, papamigay mo na? Sabihin mo lang para maipaalam ko na sa lahat."

"Susi ng kotse. Bilis."

Pauly and I drove away, and I was hoping na maabutan ko pa siya on the road. But it's impossible. I don't want to give her a call for I know that she's still driving. We decided to go straight to Bulacan. I can feel na doon ang punta niya. But I was wrong. There's no one in the house except for their househelp, so I had no choice but to call her up. And as expected, she's not answering my calls. I even called the Lings, but she's not with them. I called Tita Baby, but to no avail. I called some of her teammates, wala din daw.

"Lintik. Badtrip. Saan na kaya nagpunta yun?", I uttered while driving.

"Baka sa puso mo", Pauly replied.
