Flashback

"So, how is it going to be?", Thirdy asked.

"I don't know, I don't have any freakin' idea", I answered.

"That would be awkward for sure."

"I know, at least for me. I don't know if she'll feel the same way."

"Goodluck bro. I'm just here if you need anything."

"Thanks Thirds."

Present

I drove to La salle to fetch Mika. She mentioned that she wants to buy a new dress for our group date, and so I offered her a ride. More of an alalay while she's shopping.

"What kind of dress are you planning to buy?", I asked while on our way to the mall.

"The usual. LBD again. I'm afraid to try other style and color kasi. It might not work on me."

"Why not? I've always thought that any color will suit you. Remember what I've told you before? You're the one who's making the dress beautiful, not the other way around."

"Wow, I'm flattered ah. Thanks though."

"You're welcome. Lucky guy."

"What?"

"Lucky 6'3" guy."

"Haha. How about you? What are you planning to wear?"

"I'm good. I'll just have my stylist decide for me again."

"Thirdy though. No more bitin pants ah? Haha."

"You're so mean."

"Just kidding. I missed you Kiefskie", Mika said and leaned her head on my right shoulder.

"Patay, baka magselos si 6'3" ah?", I said.

"He knows that we remained good friends despite everything. He's mature enough naman to understand eh."

"Well, that's good."

"How about Miss long hair?"

"What about her?"

"Okay lang sa kanya to?"

"Well, we really, haven't talked about it. But yah, I think she's cool with this. I'm not courting her pa naman eh."

"Ahhhh, 1-10?"

"What do you mean by that?"

"In a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest, how much do you like her?", Mika asked.

"Uhm, 7?"

"Wow, that's pretty high huh?"

"I can't make it 10 though."

"Why?"

"You really wan't to know?", I asked.

"Yah, tell me."

"Coz it's hard to give the number 3 away", I said and look at her while she leans on me.

She looked at me and smiled.

"But you did already", she said.

"I didn't. Number 3 is still my morning and late night thoughts."

"Hmmm...are we still talking about numbers here? Kief ah."

"Well, I just answered your question."

"You focus on your driving na nga, she said."

After shopping for her dress, we just had dinner and I took her home already. She has an early training the next day.
