"Nice game Miks", I said while on our way to greenbelt after Mika's game.

"Thanks buddy."

"So, where do you want to eat? You had a good game so you deserve a nice treat tonight."

"Uhm, I'm craving for something jap", she answered.

"Okay, your wish is my command."

"You're spoiling me huh?"

"As always. Kaw pa", I said.

"So, any development?"

"On what?"

"That girl. You said you have this classmate whom you kinda find attractive. Your new crush, right? Did you make a move yet?"

"Uhm, well, I don't know. But we're getting a bit closer now.

"Does she know that you've got a crush on her?"

"I don't think so."

"What a turtle. Come on, make your move. She's single, right?"

"Yup."

"How does she look?"

"Uhm, she's tall, not that skinny, ayos lang. Then she's maputi. She has a nice smile."

"Short or long hair?", Mika asked further.

"Long hair."

"Oh, so what are you waiting for? Ask her out."

"Seriously?"

"Why not? You said she's single. And if she's nice naman, I'm sure you'll get along with her pretty well", Mika said.

"Well, let's see."

"And the timing is right, in just a few days, it's Valentine's day already. I'll help you think of a way on how to make her say yes for a dinner date."

"Haha. Miks, it's okay. Don't you think it's too early for me to ask her out? She might take it the wrong way, you know."

"Well, take her on a group date. That sounds better."

"Hmmm.. I like that idea. Will you join us?", I asked.

"Haha. Me? That would be awkward. She might think that we're kinda weird."

"We can ask Thirdy and Billie to join us", I said.

"Then why have me pa? It should be a double date. Go na. Ask Thirdy later."

"Well, I won't try to push it if you'll not join us. So please? Pretty please?", I pleaded.

"Okay fine. I'll bring someone na lang din. Is that okay?"

"Si 6'3" guy? Yah sure. That would be fun", I said.

"Okay. I'll ask him later if he's free."

"Yes! Thanks buddy", I said and pinched her cute rosy cheek.

Flashback

"Hello? Where are you? Let's have dinner."

"Where?"

"I'll text you the address", I said.

"You won't pick me up?"

"I'm already here. See you."

Just an hour later, Trinca arrived. I'm ready to tell her everything. I couldn't wait much longer.
