I went to a nearby supermarket to look for that twin apple that Mika's asking for. But damn, I know for a fact that it doesn't even exist. Pero push, kahit magmukha aking tanga kakahanap. I'm seeing some red and green apples. But no matter how hard I try to imagine na magkadikit yung mga apple, hindi talaga eh.

"Yes Sir? Apple po?", the sales lady asked.

"Ah Miss, may hinahanap kasi akong apple."

"What kind of apple Sir? Green or red? Fugi po ba?"

"Uhm, kasi ano.."

"Yes Sir?"

"Uhm, look, I know this sounds weird, pero may apple ba kayo na magkadikit?"

"Po? Panung ma

kadikit Sir?"

"Yung magkadikit. Yung parang sa saging, diba minsan may magkadikit na saging?"

"Ahhhhhhhhh", that's all she said. And I could sense that she's just trying her best not to laugh.

"So, meron ba?"

"Sir, nagpapatawa naman kayo eh. Wala pong ganun."

"Yah. Sabi ko nga weird diba? Pero kasi yung gf ko that's what she wants."

"Naglilihi po ba?"

"Uhm, parang ganun eh. Miss, tulungan mo naman ako oh, bibili ako ng mga 3 pairs ng apple. Panu ko ba pagdidikitin yan?"

"Sir? Seryoso kayo?"

"Oo. Sige na please? Help me naman."

"Ang swerete naman po ng gf niyo sa inyo. Sa sobrang pagmamahal niyo, kaya niyong pagdikitin ang dalawang apple."

"Mas maswerte ako sa kanya."

"Sir, nabuntis niyo po si Mika Reyes?"

I called Mika and told her that I'm already outside her dorm. I'm nervous as hell. Nervous for these apples and nervous because the possibility of her being pregnant is starting to sink in.

I hugged her tight as soon as she opened the gate while I'm holding the fruits, both the bananas and apples.

"Ang higpit ah", she said.

"I'm sorry. Babe, ito na yung fruits. Just in case magbago ulit cravings mo, andiyan na rin yung banana", I said and handed her over the plastic bag.

"Thank you."

"So, how are we going to know if pregnant ka nga? We can go to the doctor if you want", I said.

"Are you really okay with the idea of me getting pregnant?"

"Babe, if that's the case, then yes. I know things will be complicated once naging positive nga. But we gotta be ready. Ako bahala. Wala ng atrasan to. Ngayon pa lang naglilihi ka na. Baka nga buntis ka. But we need to make sure."

"I'll just take a pregnancy test tomorrow. Then I'll let you know", Mika said.

"Okay. Then let's plan our next step after that. I love you. Everything's goig to be okay", I said and touched her tummy.

"I love you too. Nakabili ka talaga ng magkadikit na apple?"

"Uhm, check it na lang?"

Mika checked the plastic bag and got hold of the twin apple. Napailing na lang ako nung nakita niya.

"Magkadikit nga!!!"

"Babe, sorry. Actually may daya yan. Wala naman talagang magkadikit diba? I just asked the sales lady to help me para madikit yan."
