You were in a good mood. Nothing was going to bring you down. Early in the morning, Yumeko had finally asked you out and you were over the moon about it. Never in your life did you think that Yumeko liked you back. Ryota had mumbled to you about it but you didn't believe him. After what happened, you decided to apologize for insulting him. You hadn't taken too kindly to be told a lie.
Making your way to the room that Ryota had texted that everyone was in, you walk in to find Mary and Yumeko kissing. Next to them stop a red-faced Ryota with a look of panic when you walked in. As you walked away you could hear them yelling but you didn't bother to stick around to what they had to say.

"Do you still want to go out with me?"
Upset and furious about what you had witnessed, you ran to the only person that would help you out with your problem.
"Something seems to be troubling you. What's wrong?"
Kirari genuinely seemed to care for once. The day was just getting weirder and weird to the point that it was making you think that it was all a dream.
"Nothing is wrong. I'm asking you, do you or do you not want to go out with me?"
"Of course I'll love to go out with you but I'm quite concerned. You were adamant on the fact that you didn't want to go out on a date with me. What changed your mind?"
"I just had a change of heart."
"Well then I'm quite happy that you had a change of heart then. I'm quite looking forward to our date."

Yumeko couldn't believe what Mary had done. As far as she was aware, Mary only tolerated her so she could have another person to depend on if things ever went sideways. After yelling at her for what she had done, she finally calmed down and had Ryota say what he had been trying to say for the past 30 minutes.
"(y/n) saw the two of you. She ran out just before you broke off the kiss."
"Ryota! Why didn't you tell me this sooner!?"
"I..uh..I'm so..."
He's left alone in the room with Mary as Yumeko searches the school grounds for you.

Yumeko hadn't had any look on finding you for the past week. It didn't help that the two of you only shared a class, one that you had been avoiding for several days. She knew that you were going to have to eventually come back.
Just like she had predicted, you ended up coming back to the class but you weren't alone. At your side was none other than Kirari. What was even more shocking was when she leaned in to kiss you before taking off. If it wasn't for heart breaking, she would've found the sight of it amusing. It wasn't everyday that you saw the school's president walk someone to class.
"What was that?" You ignored her, simply just made your way to your seat to prepare for the class. "I know you can hear me. Why were you and Kirari kissing?"
You let out an annoyed sigh before turning to look at you. It was infuriating to see that Yumeko felt like she deserved an explanation after what happened.
"Why do you care about who I kiss? It's none of your concern."
Despite how angry you sounded, Yumeko knew that you were hurt. You were only lashing out because you didn't want her to get close to you.
"(y/n), about what happened...."
"I don't need an explanation, Yumeko."
"But you do! Look Mary kissed me. I didn't kiss her back, in fact, I actually pushed her off of me. Ryota was there to see it all. You can ask him."
"No. I don't care if it was Mary who kissed you or if you kissed her. I'm with Kirari now."
The teacher walks in, stopping Yumeko from being able to answer.

You didn't know why your feet led you to Ryota.
"(y/n), hi! I haven't seen you in a while."
"Yeah...I've just been a bit busy. I was wondering if I could ask you something."
He nods, putting his book down so he could focus his attention on you.
"Yumeko told me that Mary had kissed her. When the initial shock wore off, she said that she pushed her off. Is that true?"
"Yeah, it's true. We still don't know why Mary did that. Yumeko and I always thought that she had a thing for Ririka but she never confirmed it."
"Right. Thank you for being honest with me. I have to go."

You should've known that Kirari wouldn't take the news too kindly. Especially if you were going to leave her for Yumeko out of all people.
"No. I'm not letting you breakup with me. I just got you and I'm not going to let you go. If Yumeko is serious about dating you then she's welcome to gamble with me for you."
"Are you serious, Kirari? You can't just reject my breakup. I am breaking up with you. We had only gone out on a date, we weren't even dating. I'm only telling you this out of courtesy. I'm sorry for doing this but I don't want to string you along."
"You mean that you have no need for me? That I've fulfilled my purpose."
"Kirari...don't say that. I didn't mean it like that."
"Except that you did. I asked you out and you said no. Then almost a few days later, you come back to accept my date. It's strange isn't it? After hearing from Ririka about what happened, it all made sense."
"Wait? What? What did Ririka tell you?"
"She came crying to me that Mary had kissed Yumeko. I put two and two together."
"I really am sorry, Kirari. I was hurt and I wasn't thinking straight."
Kirari turns to look at her aquarium as she's unable to keep looking at you. She felt ridiculous for being upset about what happened. She genuinely liked you.
"It doesn't matter then. You can leave. Go be with Yumeko. I don't care."
A minute later and she heard the door open and close. Another minute passes by and it opens again.
"Madam President?"
It took only two words to get her tears to spill. Sayaka just held Kirari as she cried. She had to admit it was weird to be comforting the person she liked about a breakup but she was happy to be holding her.

"Do you still want to go out on that date?"
Yumeko turns around with a bright smile.
"I'd still love to go out on a date with you. Wait, but what about Kirari?"
"We weren't exactly dating but I ended things with her."
She drops her bag and pulls you in for a tight hug.
"Good. Because you're all mine."
