You/Kirari Momobami - Nothing Part 1

You should've known to not gamble with Yumeko but you couldn't help yourself. All you heard throughout the school was that she loved a high risk gamble. Something that you loved too but had a hard time finding people to gamble with. Everyone was always afraid of losing their rank and becoming a pet from gambling with you so they all stayed away. You had done everything to gamble with the student council but they all refused, saying that they weren't interested in a silly gamble with you.

Your inability to stay away from high risk gambles is the same reason why you're deep in depth with Yumeko and the Student Council. A chain had been handed to you and the beginning of your treatment as a 'House Pet' began.

Everyone seemed to enjoy ordering you around. It was always '(y/n), bring me my food, give me a massage, take my exams, do my homework.' The list was never ending. The only good thing that had come out of being a 'house pet' was the fact that you could now challenge the student council members to a public match. You've been trying to challenge one since day one but all of them were avoiding you. You walked into the same room as them and they ran out through the back. You weren't sure what was going on but you had a feeling that it had something to do with the President.

"Any luck today?"

You hear Yumeko's voice to your right.

Although you were in debt because of her, you couldn't be angry with her. She had only given you what you wanted. A gamble with both players risking everything. The two of you had developed a weird friendship that confused a lot of people, especially Mary. She believed that you had it out for Yumeko and kept a close eye on you at all times. You didn't mind it, it was amusing.

"Nope. I thought that Midari would be the first to try to gamble with me but she ran out too."

"Who?"

You rolled your eyes. Yumeko pretending that Midari didn't exist was funny at first but it was getting old. You felt bad for the girl. All she wanted was to feel something.

"Nevermind. I think I'm just meant to be in debt forever. There's no way out of this. No one wants to gamble with me."

"I don't be so sad. I'll gamble with you."

"No. We gambled everything and I lost. I deserve this and I must claw my way out of this."

Yumeko pouted at your for a second until she noticed Mary coming into the dining hall. Mary made her way over to the table and you took the opportunity to be extra touchy with Yumeko. You hugged Yumeko tightly and stood up from the table.

"I have to go. I'll see you later, Yumeko." Yumeko said her goodbye's as you walked away. "Bye Mary."

Mary kept quiet, completely ignoring you when you walked by her. You knew she had heard you by the way her hands clenched into fists. You knew it was just a matter of time before she slammed her fist against your face.

You were mindlessly walking around the halls, simply enjoying the peace and quiet. The few minutes between lunch and class were the only times that you weren't bothered with orders. The Student Council seemed to had other plans when Sayaka interrupted your quiet.

"The President drew this up for you."

Sayaka turned around to head back where she had come from but you stopped her.

"Wait? What is this? I don't understand. Life plan?"

"Read it and you'll understand."

You had only glanced at the life plan for a second and when you looked back up, she was gone. Sighing in annoyance, you leaned against the wall and read through the papers to better understand what had been giving to you.

The life plan was exactly as it sounded. It named who you were engaged to, who you'll marry and become a housewife to take care of the children, how many kids you'll have and anything else you could think of. You weren't really shocked. You had heard stories about them but you never really paid any attention. The only thing that you were shocked about was the person who you were engaged to.

"You can't go in there! They're having a meeting!"

You attempted to push Sayaka to the side but she pulled out her taser before you did. At the sight of the device, you stepped back.

"I don't understand my life plan. Is this some kind of joke. Why the hell does my life plan dictate that I'm engaged to the President and then marry once we graduate."

"What?! Give me that."

Sayaka grabbed the life plan from your hands and quickly read through it all. The President had given it to her before telling her to deliver it to you. She hadn't had a chance to read through it like all the other life plans.

"T..This is a mistake. I don't understand!"

You don't have a chance to question as she slams the doors wide open. The entire Student Council members turn to face the two of you. Kirari simply greets the two of you with a smile, unbothered about the fact that the meeting had been interrupted.

"You drew up a plan to be engaged to (Full name)!? What about us?! I..I don't understand."

Kirari enjoyed a little bit of drama but not at her expose. She dismissed the rest of the members and waited until the room was cleared before she spoke.

"Sayaka, I do love you but you must understand. This all business." She walked up to her, cupping her cheek to make her look up at her. "You must understand that as Head of the 100 Devouring Families, I can't marry you. They'll hurt you just to get to the top and I don't want that. I couldn't live with myself if you got hurt, Sayaka." Kirari sighed and turned to face you. With her free hand, she tugged the chain around your neck and pulled you to stand besides them. "With her in the picture, no one will find out about us and you won't be in any danger."

You finally decided to speak up, not liking that she was talking about you as if you weren't there.

"What if I don't want to be part of this? I don't want to be a trophy wife."

Kirari's soft eyes are replaced by cold ones as she tightly grips your chin.

"Then pay your debt to the student council and you'll be free."

"I...I don't have any money."

You mumbled.

"Then shut up and deal with the fact that this will now be your future. You're nothing but a house pet. You're in no position to reject any orders." You wanted to say something but you kept quiet. You just nodded. "Good. Then you can leave. No one will bother you from now on but when I call for you, you come running. Understand?"

"I..I understand."

"Run along then."

They don't even bother to wait until you're gone before they're kissing. You sigh sadly, already hating your new life.
