Whenever she had to adopt her sister's persona, Kirira never interacted with anyone. If she did, it would be difficult to keep up the ruse that they had. Considering that her sister was a little shy, Kirari didn't have any problems keeping to herself until she met you.
You had just transferred to the academy when you met the Vice-President. You didn't know anyone in the school and since she was alone the majority of the time, you decided to befriend her. It was always easier to befriend people that didn't know anyone
"Is it the mask?" You ask when you sit besides her. She ignores you, choosing to focus on playing with her food. "Hellooo? Your mask doesn't cover your ears so I know you can hear me."
She quickly turns around to face you, surprising you to suddenly be facing the mask. You hadn't seen it up close and it was a little scary.
"What?"
You nearly screamed as you heard the robotic voice. It was definitely the mask that was keeping people away.
"Uh, never mind. My name is (y/n). I'm new to the school."
You expect an answer but she just nods and goes back to her food. With a sigh, you decide to finish your lunch in silence.

Even after you had failed to befriend her, you continued to sit with her. Compared to the rest of the school, she seemed to be the most normal out of them.
"Why do you continue to sit with me? I don't even talk to you."
You jump from surprise, not expecting to hear her voice again. You had thought the two of you had come to a silent agreement to just enjoy each other's company.
"I don't know. I'm not very sociable and you seem the most normal out of everyone. I'm just trying to keep my head down and pass my classes without getting the attention of anyone."
Kirari forced herself to not laugh at your answer. She was by far the least normal out of everyone and you had certainly caught the attention of her for trying to befriend her. Ririka had perfected this personality to scare anyone away and yet you stuck around.
"If you want to know someone normal, I just Sayaka."
"The student council secretary?" The Vice-President nods. "She seems nice but I saw her tase someone before. I'm afraid she'll tase me before I even get a word out."
Again, Kirari had to stop herself from laughing. Perhaps, she might enjoy your company after all.

After that lunch conversation, the two of you grew closer. Ririka still hardly talked but she at least gave you some responses and you were okay with that.
Kirari had to admit that she liked having you as a friend. You were a breath of fresh air but unfortunately she couldn't stay as Ririka for too long. She planned to tell you about the ruse that her and her sister had but she didn't get a chance to as Ririka requested to trade back with her.
"Oh, yeah. You have a new friend."
"What?" Ririka tried to get an explanation but Kirari had already walked away. "Kirari!"

Ririka was on her way to her next class when you suddenly tackled her into a hug. She had missed lunch the day before and you had to admit that you had missed her.
"Where have you been?! You weren't at lunch, what gives?"
Ririka couldn't get a word out as she was too flustered. It was love at first sight for her.
"Y...you look like an angel."
You rolled your eyes, annoyed that she was messing with you by using your soulmate's first words.
"I showed you that in confidence!"
Ririka lets out a gasp when she hears the exact words that were engraved on her rib.
"You're my soulmate."
Hearing this made you pissed. The joke wasn't funny. You didn't think she would ever joke about something like this.
"What? Ririka, this isn't funny. Quit playing around."
Around the corner, Kirari hears some commotion and she makes her way over to find out what it was about. When she sees the crowd of student surrounding you and Ririka, she has Sayaka help her drag the two of you to the student council room.

"What's going on? Why did you drag us in here? We were in the middle of a conversation."
Kirari sits on her couch and motions for you and Ririka to take a seat in front of you. Once the two of you are seated, she starts to explain what was going on.
"So the two of you are twins and switches places when I met 'Ririka.' So now Ririka is Ririka and you're you."
"Yes."
Ririka answers while taking off her mask. Seeing double, you nearly pass out.
"Oh wow. This is a lot to process. So you're really my soulmate then?"
"She is. My job here is done. I'll give the two of you a minute to process this. Lets go Sayaka."
With the two of you alone, you scoot closer to her.
"Is it okay if I kiss you?"
Instead of answer, Ririka closes her eyes and leans in a little closer. You smile and close the distance between the two of you.
