As she heard her door open, Kirari started to cough quite loudly. For the past week, she's been pretending to be sick so that no one would ask her any questions about why she was refusing to go to school.
"I think maybe we take you to the doctor, Kirari. You've been sick for a week. I'm a little concerned."
"I'm fine, Ririka. I just need to rest for a couple of more days."
She says while making her voice sound raspy.
Ririka rolled her eyes. Not believing Kirari for a second. She knew that Kirari was avoiding going to school but she wasn't exactly sure what the exact reason it was for. All she knew was that it had something to do with you. Specifically something to do with the date.
"Kirari, I know that you're lying."
"How could I be lying about my illness, Ririka? Why would I even lie about something like this?"
"Because you're you and you're avoiding school."
"Nonsense. Maybe you're sick too. You should probably stay home so we don't give anyone what we have."
Ririka makes her way over to sit besides Kirari. Without saying anything, she brings her hand up to Kirari's forehead.
"You don't appear to have a fever and you seem fine to me. Are you going to tell me what's going on or do I have to find out myself."
Kirari stared at her, hating how she was put on the spot. With a sigh, she sits up while bringing up her knees to her chest.
"I'm scared to go to school. I don't think that I'm ready to face (y/n)."
Kirari hadn't told Ririka anything about the date so when she heard this, it sounded to her like you had done something to her.
"What did she do, Kirari? I'll make her regret ever thinking about hurting you."
It makes Kirari smile to hear how protective her sister was of her. Despite being the youngest, she was the one that had to keep her sister safe from the world.
"She didn't do anything. I did. I kissed her cheek and then ran inside the house. I didn't get to see her reaction and I'm scared of what she would tell me."
Ririka had to bite her lip hard to stop herself from laughing.
"Kirari, you're seriously panicking over a kiss on the cheek?"
"What if she realized that she doesn't like me like that? I don't think I'll be able to take her rejection."
Ririka's eyes soften as she hears Kirari confess her fears. She wraps her arms around her twin, giving her a tight hug.
"That girl is head over heels in love with you. She's not going to reject and if she does, she's going to have to answer to me. Now start getting ready, we're leaving in an hour."

Ririka had to drag Kirari out of the car as she refused to get out.
"Kirari! Quit being a baby and get out of the car."
"No. I'm fine staying here."
"Fine. You left me no choice."
Ririka wrapped her arms around her waist and pulled her out. Kirari refused to be pulled out so she held on to anything so Ririka couldn't drag her out.
"Kirari! Let go!"
"No! I'm never coming back to this school. You're president now. Let me go!"
Your attention is grabbed when you hear Kirari's voice. Excited to see her for the first time in a week, you rush over to the scene.
"Uh, what's going on here?"
The two sisters turn to face you, not expecting to find you there. When Kirari doesn't offer an explanation, Ririka offers it.
"My sister is a gay disa..."
"You can go now, Ririka. I'll tell her."
Kirari practically hissed at her. Ririka just gave her a smile and left the two of you alone.
"What's going on Kirari? I've been trying to reach you but your phone was always off."
"I uh..." Even after going on a date and kissing you, Kirari still had a hard time thinking straight. "I was busy with some family stuff. Sorry about that."
You believe her, simply just happy that she wasn't avoiding you.
"It's okay! I'm just glad you're back. Come on, we have to get to class."
You take her hand and lead her inside.

Kirari's not paying to where you were leading her as she focused on not passing out from the fact that you were holding her hand.
"Okay, I guess I'll see you for lunch. I'll bring you your favorite."
You leaned in to kiss her cheek and turned around to head back to your class, not realizing that Kirari had simply just stopped functioning.
