Throughout the entire event, Kirari wasn't able to keep her eyes off of you. It was embarrassing to admit that she didn't even pay any attention to the main event because she was too focused on you. The thought of going up to invite you for a dance had come across her mind but she never went through with it because it would've been embarrassing. She was Kirari Momobami, the head of the hundred devouring families. She was above silly crushes and asking people to dance. So she was cursed with watching others dance with you until you eventually left the party.
"Kirari? Are you ready to go?"
"I was ready to go an hour ago."
Ririka pays her no attention, simply just believes that Kirari was in one of her moods. When in reality Kirari was a little upset about the fact that she wasn't able to get to know you. You had piqued her interest and now she was never going to get a chance to know you because of her pride and inability to go up and talk to you.

Pictures of the wedding were soon released to the public where Kirari was able to take notice of the fact that you had been giving her a soft look. She looked through the rest of the pictures to realize that when she wasn't looking at you, you were the one looking at her. She didn't care about her pride anymore, she was going to find out who you were.

Ririka found it strange that Kirira hadn't come out of her room. It was late in the afternoon and it was unlike her to wake up late. Worried that she might've been sick, Ririka makes her way to Kirari's room.
"Kirari, are you alright?"
Ririka asks as she knocks. Nobody answers so she presses her ear against the door to see if she could hear anything before going in. She could hear Kirari talking to someone but she couldn't hear who it was.
"Answer! I've been calling you for the past 10 minutes. If you want your family to remain part of the clan then I suggest you call me back within 5 minutes."
Curious about what Kirari was doing, she walks in. She's surprised to hear her threaten someone over missed calls.
"Kirari? What's going on? Who were you calling?"
Kirari sighs as she lays back on her bed, frustrated that she still had no clue about who you were.
"I'm going to die alone, Ririka. You're the only one who is going to carry our family name. You should be the head of the clan instead. I don't deserve this position."
To see Kirari being more dramatic than usual, Ririka worried.
"Don't be ridiculous, sister. I'm sure you'll find someone that you'll marry and grow old with. Despite your many, many, many..."
"I get it. What's your point?"
"many flaws that you have. You're the only one who is fit for that position. Now tell me what's going on? What has suddenly made you think that you're going to die alone."
"Because I possibly met the love of my life and I let her go because of my stupid pride. Now let me be alone and suffer with the consequences."
Ririka rolled her eyes and grabbed the magazine that Kirari had been using as a guide on who to call.
"Why are all these people crossed out? Did you kill them?"
"Don't be ridiculous, Ririka. I crossed them out because they weren't able to give me the information that I need."
"And what is the information that you need."
Kirari sighs as she points to you.
"I want to know who she is."
"You mean, (y/n)? Why do you want to know her information? Please don't tell me that you..."
"She's the one that I was talking about! How do you know her?! No wait, I need you to call her and ask her out for me."
"What? I can't do that..."
"Ririka, please. I've never asked you for anything."
Ririka didn't bother to tell her about the many times that Kirari asked for favors. She just pulled out her phone and called you.
"Get ready. She's coming in an hour."
"What?! So soon! I haven't even gotten out of bed! Why would you tell her today!?"
Kirari hurries out of bed to get ready for the date, mentally taking a note to get back at Ririka for what she had done. For now, she was going to focus on preparing for the date.

It was a little intimidating to be sitting in front of Kirari. You had been warned about the kind of person she was and you hoped that you hadn't done anything to upset her. When Ririka called about Kirari wanting to meet you, you had almost told her that you were out of the country but you figured that they would find a way to know that you had lied.
"So Kirari, why did you ask for me to join you for tea."
Kirari finished the entire contents of her cup, needing for it to calm her down. She took a deep breath and decided to put on a front. She couldn't let you see how nervous she was.
"I noticed you looking at me in the pictures."
At the mention of it, you grew embarrassed. You had thought that you had done a good job of keeping it a secret.
"I...I'm sorry, Kirari. I just thought that your dress was quite beautiful. I couldn't look away."
Kirari smirked, feeling much more confident now.
"I don't believe you. There's several pictures that caught you staring at me. Are you sure that you want to continue with saying how you were staring at my dress?"
"I...."
"Before you say anything, I have to confess something." She makes her way over to sit besides you. You weren't sure how to breath as she leaned in to whisper in your eye. "I couldn't keep my eyes off of you."
"Really?"
Kirari pulls back to gauge your reaction. She can't help but smile when she sees how nervous you are.
"Mhm. I think you're quite beautiful, (y/n). I would love to take you out on a date. What do you say?"
She asks as she tucks a strand of your hair behind your ear.
"I would love to go on a date with you."
