Bullying for body image, also making the party from what we see when Robby and Sam comes longer.
Miraleigh had made a punching bag out of her father's pillows, some of his clothes and duct tape. She was practising punching and kicking, she was proud of the bag she had made and liked being able to have a work out using the bag. It was after school and Samantha was trying to get Miraleigh to come with her to a party. Now Miraleigh didn't usually come to them because that kids that make her life hell are usually there. But she agreed anyway just so Samantha would leave her be. She had texted Robby about it after he asked her if she was going the the LaRusso house. She was on her way to the LaRusso residence, humming to herself quietly and stopped immediately seeing Yasmine put the car window down.
"Pimples, got any guy yet? Oh, I doubt it. I mean look at you." Miraleigh shook her head, ignoring her and continued walking. She took a detour, knowing cars can't go down it. After a while she got back on the footpath and made it to the LaRusso house. She knocked on the door, waiting for someone to answer. She smiled seeing Sam, then it dropped seeing her look.
"I'm grounded, you can come in." Miraleigh nodded, smiling as she saw Amanda.
"Sam's grounded, but you can go and use the dojo."
"Okay, thank you." Amanda nodded and Miraleigh gave Sam a sad smile and walked to the dojo. She placed her bag down, took her shoes off and started to practice her kata. Miraleigh, looked up and smiled seeing Robby.
"So there's a party?" He asked curiously, one corner of her mouth twitched into a smile. He placed his bag down and took his shoes off. He bowed and walked over to her, starting to spar. He smirked at the swiftness she had on her moves.
"How would you feel about acting that you're injured so we could get Sam here?" Miraleigh asked, he smirked nodding and groaned as he hit the ground from Miraleigh taking him down. She stuck her tongue out playfully and helped him up.
"How do you feel about the party?" He asked as he started blocking her punches, she threw a kick which he defended.
"Not thrilled about it, but I'll put up with it." She shrugged, he stopped and placed his hands down watching her concerned. They both bowed and he sat down crossing his legs and watched her do the same.
"How come?" He asked, watching her with curious yet worried.
"Usually the kids who make life hard are there, I avoid the parties so I can avoid them." She explained, he nodded and gave her a reassuring look.
"Well, I'm gonna make that change." She chuckled and smiled nodding.
"I'm sure you'll be able to, you always seem to." He grinned and nodded.
"I'm flattered." She giggled, standing up and placed her shoes on. Robby copied her, started limping and Miraleigh wrapped her arm around him as if he was really injured.
"What happened?" Amanda asked, seeing the two.
"I twisted my ankle, while sparing." He said with a fake wince.
"Daniel won't be home for a while, I'd be happy to give you a lift." She said tidying some of the papers.
"No it's fine, it's just I know you have all his work to do." Amanda nodded, then leaned to the side of her chair.
"Sam!" Amanda shouted.
"Yes warden!" Samantha groaned and walked over with an annoyed look.
"Robby sprained his ankle, could you take them both home? Then come straight back." Samantha nodded and Miraleigh continued to 'help' Robby walk as they got to the car and picked up his skateboard before they left.
"Do you need any extra help?" Samantha asked, Robby shook his head and Miraleigh placed her arm down by her side.
"Just have to walk it off." He waited for a few moments and then did a little bounce in his step as he walked normally. Samantha looked at the two confused and then smiled happily.
"You two did not have to do this for me." She exclaimed quietly, they shrugged and with a smirk. They quickly got some stuff for the party, such as towels and a couple of blankets. Miraleigh got in the back of the car, Robby in the passenger seat and Samantha driving. A song that Miraleigh loved was on the radio, so she quietly sang along with it. Her two friends listened in with a smile and turned the radio down so they could hear her properly. She wasn't singing as quiet as she thought she was, so when she could only hear herself singing, she stopped immediately and blushed sheepishly.
"That was beautiful!" Samantha exclaimed, Miraleigh was still shocked that they heard her so she didn't say anything.
"It really was, it was really lovely." Robby stated, turning around to look at her. She blushed, looking down to hide it and then once she knew it was gone looked back up.
"Thank you." She grinned.
"We're here!" Samantha exclaimed and got out. Miraleigh waited a moment, preparing herself for the night. Before she could get out Robby opened the door for her and smiled.
"You okay?" He asked gently, she nodded and thanked him as she stepped out. She could hear the students yelling and the loud beating of the music. She closed the door and walked down with them, she could see Yasmine looking pissed off and Moon speaking with other people. Kaylee was there, she looked at Miraleigh and smirked.
"I'm gonna look for Miguel." Samantha said, waving and walked off. Miraleigh looked at Robby with a nervous smile, she held the rolled up blanket close to her chest and smiled as Robby placed his hand on the small of her back and started walking with her.
"So, how many of these people do you know?" He asked, looking at her then at the people surrounding them.
"A couple of them, the one with the mohawk is Eli. But goes by Hawk, uhh that one is Demetri. He's a bit annoying, but whatever. That's Yasmine, a bitch. That's Kaylee, also a bitch." She briefly described, he nodded and watched her carefully as he could see her tense up. He watched Yasmine and Kaylee walk over, smirks on their lips.
