Both Miraleigh and Robby walked into the car park, looking for whoever would be picking them up. Robby kissed Miraleigh's cheek, still holding her up and smiling at her appearance. Miguel came from the side and shoved Robby, Miraleigh sighed and took a step back, watching the two teens argue.
"Hey! I could've sworn sensei said you were out of Cobra Kai."
"I'm not in Cobra Kai." Robby defended.
"Yet, you're on their side every time they start fighting."
"You don't know what you're talking about."
"Look, I know that you think that just because you came down to Mexico you think you're a good guy, but guess what, you're not." Miguel shoved him again, but Robby barely moved and got angrier with Miguel.
"Look who's talking. Let's get clear about one thing. I didn't come to Mexico for you." Robby shoved his finger against Miguel's chest, Miraleigh stepped forward and pushed between the two boys. Miraleigh had a hand on Robby's chest, knowing it would calm him down slightly and her other arm held up to stop Miguel, knowing he had the brains to stay where he was while she was between them both.
"Shut up! Both of you! I am fucking sick of this, both of you have valid reasons for hating each other, but this is getting fucking pathetic. Miguel, both Robby and I are out of Cobra Kai. When you think that Robby's fighting with them, he's not he's either defending me or someone else."
Robby kept his eyes on Miguel, he knew that Miraleigh wouldn't get hurt physically but he couldn't risk her getting hurt as she tried to help them or help herself to keep her sanity. Her touch comforted him, he could feel the firmness but the tenderness behind it and it helped him lower his angry heart and focus on her words.
"We're not on fighting sides anymore, so if you can't see us on the same side, just see us as the middle ground, we're not on the bad side anymore. Miguel, I understand that Johnny is a father figure to you, but you need to understand he is Robby's father and they're trying to make amends, so that means you'll be seeing more of each other and let Robby have his time with his father without getting all offended and emotional. Both of you need to put the anger aside a little bit more." Miraleigh took a deep breath, her smile fading as she tried to remain civil in the situation.
"Robby, I know that it kills you that Miguel got the better fatherly side of Johnny, that you wanted but remember Johnny's trying now and he's doing his best for you. You are getting a chance for a family. I'm not asking you to be friends because that's like asking a pig to fly. Just hate each other, lose the fighting, just hate each other and talk calmly if you have to talk at all. No more of whatever this shit is." The two boys glared at each other, neither going to move while the girl was in the way, Miraleigh stared them both down and then turned her gaze to Miguel.
"Miraleigh, you can't say anything, you don't have a family, so you don't know shit and you don't know what it's like. So stop trying to be the hero, because you're anything but that, you are a nobody and you gotta learn that's who you were born to be."
The girl glared at Miguel and stood more directly in front of Robby as she felt his anger returning. Miraleigh never really had a problem with Miguel and so she didn't expect this from him. Robby grabbed Miraleigh's wrist but she glanced at him for a moment saying she's got this and it would be fine.
"Don't fucking talk to me like that. You have a loving mother and loving grandmother, you have a family and while I felt bad for you because you don't have a father, I can't feel bad for you because you have a mother who tries her best for you, she filled in every parental role that you didn't get to have. You have no idea what Robby went through because of his broken family, his only supporter was barely there for him, I watched it happen. You had the support he didn't have, we're all trying to be better, so drop the 'I have no family' act because, in reality, you can't say shit, you're lucky, others aren't." Miraleigh's voice raise in anger, she was scary when she got frustrated, Miguel felt like he was being scolded and Robby was honestly impressed by the power her voice carried in the rage-filled tone.
"You want to know another thing?" Miguel tested, Robby watched her shoulders fall as she stood in front of him, he cautiously placed his hand on her waist and watched as she took a shaky breath.
"What?" She snapped, glaring at the boy, Miguel knew he was crossing lines but he couldn't back down now.
"You chose the wrong side when I asked you to join Cobra Kai, you should've said yes then you wouldn't be with this asshole and you wouldn't be covered in those ugly scars. Kaylee wouldn't want to kill you every two seconds and you'd have a better life when you aren't difficult to look at." Miraleigh's face flattered, Miguel couldn't believe the words that came out of his mouth, the girl looked utterly broken and already could tell that she wanted to cry. She tried to hold her guard, and could practically feel Robby getting more vengeful
"Don't talk to her like that again, she's done nothing to you, if I hear that you've done anything like that again, I'm gonna make your life a living hell." Robby gently pushed Miraleigh behind him and shoved Miguel again, staring him down.
"Stop it! We're all friends now, I want you two to get along." Johnny came in, trying his luck at defusing the situation.
"We're not friends." Miguel spat.
"We never will be." Grabbing Miraleigh's hand, Robby left with the girl and pulled her into his arms as she stopped walking and turned into his chest. Robby kissed her forehead, then frowned as he watched her wrap her arms around herself to hide her body. Robby took his shirt off, placed it on her and took her hand as she frowned a little more.
"We'll go home, shower, watch some movies and cuddle, okay?" Miraleigh nodded, smiling as Robby kissed her head and fiddled with her hands.
"I feel icky, I feel gross, I hate that even with all your loving support, I can't even handle one little shitty comment about my appearance." Robby smiled at her, grabbed her by her arms and swayed them around. Robby kissed her forehead, he fiddled with the shirt he placed on her and picked her up in his arms.
"Ready?" She nodded, smiling gently at him and giggled as he ran around dancing side to side as she swayed with him. They two went home, showered and Miraleigh discovered her period had come along the way. So, she dressed in Robby's clothes and then laid with him in bed.
