Miraleigh and Robby were starting to prepare to sell the apartment, both really didn't want to do it but they had no other choice. They packed a small amount of the stuff they actually wanted to keep, most of it was photos, clothes and DVD collections.

All the other furniture would be sold with the apartment, Johnny was fine with both Miraleigh and the dog staying at his place. While he wouldn't say no, to begin with, Johnny also knew about Miraleigh's life and the things that had happened in her life that would prevent her from being safe. He also knew that Robby wouldn't let her be by herself in the world without anything that could keep her safe, so he was forced into the position of having to say yes.

Miraleigh also kinda had a summer job, she was more of an assistant and didn't really need to focus on anything as her boss was very chill and very relaxed. He was also very understanding and easy towards what Miraleigh needed when it came to her life and the choices she needed to make.

Today, while Miraleigh focused on work, Robby would be with his mum for the day, and Miraleigh got to get more work experience for her resume. Miraleigh walked into the building, clocked on and smiled at the other workers that passed her. The girl walked over to her boss, who she did follow around the majority of the day but she did keep things in order for him and helped with keeping customers at bay when sale pitches were being thrown their way.

"Mr Barnes, what do we have planned for today?" She questioned walking up to the man, he smiled and looked around the store before focusing on what particular area.

"Miraleigh, could you help with selling stuff for me, please? You know, just work with the customers and see what you can do to help sell furniture."

"Will do." He smiled at her and watched as she walked off to do what she was asked. Miraleigh wasn't too bad at pitching a sale, she struggled with certain areas but overall she wasn't that bad. As the day went by, Miraleigh did her job and was given support to customers who got a little angsty as they wouldn't get their way.

When it came to closing time, Miraleigh helped Mike Barnes close up the shop, Miraleigh had a question she was burning to ask for the last couple of weeks but had hesitated to do because she knew she didn't have any place to make requests.

"Mr Barnes, I know that this is a lot for me to ask but my boyfriend is really good at all this handiness stuff and I was wondering if it were at all possible to help out in the back room, he got into some trouble not too long ago and that's gonna make it harder for him to get jobs now that he that on him and-"

"Is he picking you up today?" The girl nodded, realising she was carrying on a bit and cringed hoping she didn't screw up.

"Well, I'll talk to him about it." Robby pulled into the car park to get the girl, he smiled at her and walked over seeing the look in her eyes.

"Robby, this is my boss Mr Barnes, I was telling you that you're good with the handiness stuff and put in a pitch for you to get a job here." Robby smiled at her, then glanced at the man and held out a hand for him.

"Um, thank you, nice to meet you." Miraleigh stepped away to give the two some time to talk about what they needed to talk about. Not too long after that, Robby walked to the girl, grabbed her hands in his and pulled her in for a large comforting hug.

"You're too good for this world."

"Are you gonna take it?" The girl questioned hopefully, she wanted to help Robby out and wanted him to be able to do what he wants to do despite the errors he made in his life.

"Yeah." He whispered, the girl said goodbye to the man and walked to the car. Robby kept a hand on the girl's knee as they drove home. Robby grabbed her hand, leading her into the apartment and twirled her around as he shut the door behind him. Miraleigh giggled as he swooped in to kiss her lips and squealed as he started tickling her.

Robby chuckled as she pushed him as she continued to giggle, Robby grabbed her hand and stared into her eyes. He took a deep breath, smiling softly at her, relaxing slightly as she rested her hands on his arms.

"Thank you, you have no idea how grateful I am, you didn't need to do this and I hope you know that you don't need to do this stuff for me. He also gets it, he went up against Daniel way back and screwed up because of Silver and so his future father-in-law gave him a chance. So he's giving me the same chance and yeah..." The girl shrugged, smiling softly and took his hands before she left to go have a shower.

The next day, both started working, Miraleigh worked as a front-of-house person and fill in forms for new shipments of things she knew they'd want. She walked into the back to find a box for somebody's purchase, she gave a small smile to Robby as she passed him working on a workbench and walked to the guys who normally got the boxes down.

"Could you get these two boxes down please?" They nodded, grabbed both down and followed her to the back to deliver them to the car that was waiting. Miraleigh briefly walked over to Robby, smiling at the work he was currently working on and grinned as he placed a kiss on her cheek and gave her a reassuring smile before she left. The two left their break, having about a 30-minute break before they'd need to go back to work.

"I made you a peanut butter sandwich, there's chocolate and a bag of chips as well. Oh and some cookies." Robby informed the girl as they walked to their lockers, the girl hugged him for a brief second and then bounced away like a little child to have her lunch. Robby chuckled and grabbed his own lunch before following her to sit down at the table with her.

The girl dug into her food like a little kid, Robby smiled and ate with her, after they finished lunch the two moved outside to go back and do their job. Robby kissed Miraleigh's lips, he smiled as she blushed and walked away. The boy let his eyes trail on her and watched as she walked off to do her job.

Miraleigh looked at the three men sitting down with ice packs, she looked at the broken table and gave a nervous smile.

"I'll get somebody to fix this up." She informed, grabbing the broken pieces and avoiding Daniel's worrisome gaze.

"You work with this guy?" He questioned.

"Don't talk to me, I'm sick of this shit you got me into." Miraleigh spat at the man and walked away, she walked to Robby and handed him the pieces to see if they could do anything right now. Robby kissed her lips once he saw her stressed features, she brushed it away, telling him that she was fine and watched over his shoulder as he did his job.
