Miraleigh had her nose in a book, she sat by the pool. He legs dangling in the water and a smile on her lips. Robby watched her, shaking his head and watched her stand up and place the book on the sun chair and then sit back with her feet back in the water. She sung quietly to herself, gently kicking the water and sighed. Robby walked over to her, she looked up hearing the footsteps and smiled gently at the boy. He sat down next to her, tucking some hair behind her ear and gave her a hidden loving smile.
"You should sing more." He stated, she shrugged letting her thoughts say her words.
"Do you really want to hear me sing?" She asked the boy, curious to know if he really did. He nodded, looking at the girl like he had asked him the easiest question to answer.
"Of course I do!" He exclaimed, she giggled then nodded.
"I might sing later." She stated, Robby groaned playfully and chuckled hearing the girl snort. He felt his heart racing and butterflies in his stomach. She looked so beautiful, he hated that she couldn't really see her beauty. Samantha walked to them, the album Kaylee gave Miraleigh in her hands and bit her lip as she walked to the two.
"What's that?" Miraleigh asked, turning around as she had heard Sam coming.
"It's your baby album." Miraleigh's smile didn't fade, nor did the gleam in her eyes. She stood up with the help of Robby, sitting down on the pavement. The other followed her actions, Samantha handing her the album carefully.
"Are you sure you want to see it?" Robby gently asked, she nodded and opened the book. Giggling as she saw the photos of herself as she was younger. The two watched Miraleigh's face, seeing the happiness in her eyes.
"You were a cute baby." Robby said, smiling at a photo of the girl lying in a bunch of flowers.
"Thanks." Miraleigh giggled, Samantha watched Robby's eyes, grinning at the love he had in them and made it her personal goal to get Miraleigh and him together. She rested her head on his shoulder, her eyes crinkled and a bashful smile appeared on her lips. Robby grabbed her hand, softly holding it and gently let his thumb run over her knuckles. A giggle escaped her lips as she picked up a photo that slid out of a page and continued to giggle looking at her younger self. She had icing all around her face, a cupcake in her hand and in the photo she had a huge childish grin on her face.
"I wish I was a child again, being so care free and not knowing what was wrong in the world." She gently whispered, gently running her fingers across the photo. She continued to smile, placing the photo in a page and closed the album.
The next day, the three were at the dojo. Samantha was kicking the punching bag, Miraleigh and Robby training on the wooden deck in the pond. At first she found it impossible to not stare, Robby pretended to not notice the flustered girl and her eyes trying not to dart to his bare chest.
"What do you think is going to happen if we don't get more students." She asked, as they moved and listened to his words.
"We'll get more students, Mr. LaRusso will find a way." He reassured, catching the girl as she slipped. She squeaked as his arms wrapped around her, keeping her from falling into the water.
"Are you alright?" He gently asked, she nodded and smiled at him. Still holding onto his arms as she slowly got her balance and posture back. She thanked him, then they got back into doing the routine.
"Would you like to continue?" Robby asked, she nodded and then smiled as they continued doing everything.
"Is this like a shirt vs skins? Because I'd much rather be a shirt, not saying you have to be a skin unless you want to. You have your right to choose." Miraleigh nodded, biting the inside of her cheeks. Robby smirked at the girl, wrapping his arms around her. Lifting her feet from the wood and landed in the water. She gasped as she hit the boy, a playful smirk tugging at her lips.
"Jerk." She teased.
"I don't know what you're talking about." She snorted with a smile, getting out of the pond and then dried herself off with the towel she keeps nearby when she trains.
It was now a new day, the four teens had gone to the local mall. Miraleigh sipping on a milkshake, the others eating what they ordered.
"You look ridiculous." Miraleigh giggled, looking at Robby's driver's licence. She handed it to Samantha, looking over her shoulder and saw a store she wanted to go to. Robby noticed the look, a smile still on his face.
"Miraleigh, go have a look at it." Her face showed a sheepish look, a gentle look on her face and thanked the boy. Stood up, giving the boy a quick hug and jogged off. He chuckled to himself, smiling and then saw Sam giving him an odd look.
"It's starting to become obvious." She smiled, Robby's eyebrows furrowed in confusion and shook his head.
"What are you talking about?" He asked, she rolled her eyes giving him a look.
"Your feelings for Miraleigh." He blushed instantly, looked away and then back at her.
"Do you think she likes me back? Because I'm planning to ask her out tonight, I have a surprise planned for her."
"She does like you, I expect details."
"If it goes well, I'm sure Miraleigh will be telling you them all."
Miraleigh walked into the store, looking at the figurines and felt a small smile coming onto her lips. She found the chinaware figurines beautiful. 'The Royal Doulton pretty ladies' she always founded the dresses on the figurines elegant and beautiful as well as gorgeous. Though, she hated how they didn't include different coloured skins, even though it didn't really affect her it damaged her opinions in equality. She walked out, looking for a bookstore and quickly looked through the books she wanted but could never afford. She walked out, jumping back as Demetri ran past her. Students from Cobra Kai, chasing after him.
Her eyes widened, running after them and jumped in to defend Demetri. Robby jumped in as well, the two worked together like they would as if they were on the wooden deck. Miraleigh was grabbed from behind, held in a tight hold. She thrashed in the person's arms, trying to get out and free. She threw her head back, head butting the person and then quickly elbowed them. Pushing them back and quickly turned around.
"Bitch!" the boy screamed, holding his bleeding nose in his hands. She turned away grinning as Robby kicked Hawk down to the ground. Miraleigh felt a smile on her lips, looking at Demetri. Samantha grinned, handing him his box of chicken and walked off. Miraleigh looked at Robby, a gentle smile on her lips.
"Let's go." She nodded, walking out with him. Miraleigh and Robby wouldn't shut up. They were thrilled at how they managed to use the training they had had learnt and how good they were.
"Mum told me what happened, are you guys okay?" Daniel asked, worriedly looking at the three.
"Yeah dad, we're okay." Samantha gently said, Daniel sighed then nodded.
"What happened?" Daniel asked.
"Some kids were chasing Demetri, we had to defend him and- are you mad dad?" Sam asked worriedly, he shook his head and smiled.
"No of course not, not only is karate used to defend yourselves, it is also used to defend other. I'm very proud, but that doesn't mean I ever want to see you guys in a fight. And you two, I'm proud to have you in this family." Robby and Miraleigh smiled, nodding and watched Daniel walk to Demetri.
"Miraleigh... I have something I want to show you tonight." Robby said nervously, turning to the girl with a small smile. She smiled at him, waited for a few hours and just sat around with them by the pool.
Miraleigh had a quick shower, changed into a dress and a denim jacket. She gently brushed her hair, leaving her chocolate brunette slightly wavy hair to rest on her shoulders. She walked down the stairs, sitting on the couch and grabbing the book in her hands. She gently turned to the pages, her eyes trailing over the words and giggles escaping her lips. Robby's heart was already racing, he was nervous and scared of what the girl might think or do seeing what he has planned for her.
"Miraleigh, are you ready?" She looked up, a bright smile on her lips and placed her book down and walked over to him.
"Ready." He grinned, smiling at her natural beauty and opened the door for the girl. An angelic smile planted itself on her lips and she thanked the boy walking out and waited for him.
