Warning- violence early on.

Miraleigh went to close the door, but Kaylee stopped it with her foot and entered. She threw a punch at Miraleigh, grinning as she spat out some blood. Miraleigh grabbed a lamp, swinging it at her and got her across the head. Kayleee smirked and grabbed her ankle, slammed her into the draws and kicked her in the stomach. Miraleigh grabbed her ankles in return, dragging her down and slammed her to the ground.

She exclaimed in pain, glaring at Miraleigh and kicked her in the face again. Kaylee grabbed hold  of her hair and dragged her up. Whimpers escaped her lips, she was weak and struggled to fight back. Kaylee rammed her fist into her face and then threatened her with the knuckle knife. She sliced the skin open on her bicep and smirked evilly at her.

"Have fun and watch your back." She hissed and walked out, leaving the girl crying on the ground. Miraleigh got herself up,  limped to the bathroom and looked at herself in a mirror. She winced at the stinging pain from cleaning her wound. She placed a bandage over it and then looked at her hair.

She thought about cutting it, seeing as it's been used against her. But she likes having long hair and couldn't part ways with it. She sighed not deciding to cut it, grabbing a hair tie and began braiding her hair. She smiled sadly to herself and looked at Willow. She picked the puppy up, scratching behind her ear and smiled.

"It's gonna be okay." She whispered, walking to the bed and placed her down. She cleaned everything up and held on the necklace that sat around her neck.

Over the next couple of days, Miraleigh visited Robby every chance she got. A smile on her lips and was glad Robby was happy to see her every time. She hadn't told him about the recent run in with Kaylee, he had more important things to worry about than her at the moment. But she told him that she was staying at the motel.

"Ah, look who's here." Miraleigh's head shot up at the sound of her grandfather. She glared at the man, looking at Robby and then back at him.

"What are you doing here?" She asked, feeling Robby's hand clasp onto hers and give a reassuring squeeze.

"It's okay, I asked him here. I said at 3pm" He gently said, then gave Kreese a stern look. She looked at Robby shocked but sat next to him and tried not to glare at her grandfather. Who was sitting across from the two.

"This is actually perfect, I've been meaning to talk to you." He said and sat back looking at the girl. Miraleigh felt Robby grab her hand, seeing the confusion in his eyes. A smirk formed on Kreese's lips as he looked between the two.

"You haven't told him yet?" He chuckled amusingly.

"Told me what?" Robby asked looking at her, she looked down ashamed and looked at Robby with a gentle look. She gently grabbed his hands, holding them in hers and gently smiled at him.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier." She whispered to him, he could see her guilt and the worry that clouded her vision. He ran his thumbs over her knuckles and gave her a look that could say it was okay.

"Kreese is my grandfather." He looked between the two and could see the look in her eyes.

"Your dad's side?" She nodded and he understood the hate immediately.

"Oh, Miraleigh. Your father is out of prison. Stopped by yesterday, asked about you."

"Don't talk to me about him." Miraleigh hissed at him, fear flashing in her eyes. She went to stand up, but his voice caught her attention.

"Always running away, you can't face your fears. Your father, Kaylee, me. How do you expect to make it in the world if you keep running."

"Life is about survival and I've been surviving without facing them and still can get around. So just leave me alone." She said, looking at him and saw Robby give him a look that had a conflicting gaze  and then it turned to a gentle look as he looked at Miraleigh.

"What will happen the moment when you face Kaylee next... Oh wait you already have." He smirked evilly, causing chaos as always.

"Miraleigh?" Robby asked looking at her, she looked down and stood up.

"Robby, I'm sorry, I have to go." He stood up, following her and cupped her face in his hands.

"Gorgeous, tell me what's wrong. What happened?"

"After I first visited you, she came to the motel I was staying at and attacked me." She rolled up her sleeve, showing the new icky scar. He turned back around and glared at Kreese, seeing the sinister look.

"Whatever you wanted to say to me, get out now. If you're telling your minions to hurt her. I want nothing to do with you." Kreese nodded and stood up, looking at both of them.

"Both of you, think about my deal." He walked out and left the two teens looking at each other with sad looks.

"I'm sorry." She whispered and squeaked slightly as he brought her into his arms. He rubbed her back, kissing her cheek and shook his head.

"Do not be sorry, okay? You have no reason to be sorry. This is what we'll do, when I get out, we'll both find a place we can share and get by that way. Just you and me." She sniffled and nodded, hugging him tightly.

"I'd like that." She whispered and chuckled at his smile.

"I love you, be safe. I mean it." She nodded in response, speaking quietly.

"I will, I love you too."  He kissed her forehead, missing being with her and hated this is how they had to see each other. She walked out, waving to him and headed outside. A gasp escaping her lips as she saw Kreese waiting there with a smirk.

"Where is he?" She asked, knowing his antics.

"Behind you." She spun around and saw her father. She could feel her heart quicken and watched him carefully.
