Robby tried to shout as quietly as he could with the girl in his arms but loud enough for people to hear him. Paramedics ran over to them with a gurney, Robby carefully placed the girl down and followed them to an ambulance as they checked on all her injuries. They placed a wound closure strip on the cut on her cheek, cleaned the slice on her palm and bandaged it up.

Robby held Miraleigh's good hand, staring at her with worry and fear, the boy kissed her forehead and caressed her cheek. The girl stared at the paramedics as they handed her a green whistle. (A green whistle apparently isn't used in some countries but pretty much it's fast-moving pain-relief paramedics give in certain situations that the patient will inhale.)

Miraleigh started inhaling the pain relief, giggling loopily after a while, Robby grinned with the girl as she started talking nonsense. Robby smoothed her hair back, holding onto her hand and smiled as she became all giddy.

"She has a dislocated knee, we need to pop it back in, just hold her hand and it will be over soon." Miraleigh made faces with Robby, not realising what they were doing to her knee, Robby grimaced as they popped her knee back into place and the girl didn't seem to acknowledge the icky scene that just happened.

The green whistle was taken away, leaving her still giddy for the next thirty minutes, Miraleigh grabbed Robby's hand and booped his own nose with his finger. Snorting at his reaction, he looked tired and but he pushed through for the girl who was suffering more than she was. The girl kissed Robby's hand, not acknowledging anything around her besides Robby and his presence.

"Get crutches, a brace, keep it elevated for the next six weeks. She'll be fine, get painkillers and in the end, make sure she gets some form of physical therapy." Robby nodded, continuing to hold her hand as she giggled with him happily, the paramedics moved away and only one lingered by.

"Robby, I love you." She dragged out her words, smiling as she smiled, they had a spare wheelchair that they were happy to give away seeing as Miraleigh didn't need to go to the hospital.

"I love you too, sweetheart." He carefully picked her up, placed her down in the chair and made sure her leg was resting on the leg rest. The boy placed his jacket on her, zipping it up and crouched down so he was at her height.

"You need to stop putting your hair in so much gel, you look nice when it's all fluffy and cute." She reached to play with the strands that fell out, giggling as he placed her hands back down on her lap. Miraleigh kissed Robby's lips but pouted as he pulled away and cupped her face in his hands.

"You're a little loopy, sweetheart, I don't wanna take advantage of you." Miraleigh stopped pouting but nodded understanding what he was saying in some way with how her mind was right now. They were still waiting by the time Miraleigh came out of her loopiness, the girl smiled tiredly at Robby and grabbed his hand, swaying them slightly.

"How do you feel?"

"Like I've been hit by a bus, when can we go home?" The girl whispered, her eyes barely open and her voice barely audible. The girl glanced at the Cobra Kai entrance, Miraleigh smiled as Silver, Kaylee and her father walked away in cuffs. A part of her was pleased to see this, she gave her statement to the cops about Kaylee and they told her the girl should be in the system for a very long time.

Barnes walked over to the two teens, Robby stood up, still holding onto the girl and nodded at the man. Miraleigh was confused as to what was happening, but she waited to hear the news.

"I'm sorry about your shop, shitty that he burnt it to the ground."

"I'm sorry you were stuck in there. Miraleigh, I have an offer for you, you don't have to say yes or anything right now. You can think about it for as long as you need, there's no pressure, but I was wondering if you'd want to be fostered by me?"

Miraleigh stared at the man, stunned at the offer, yet she was too tired to think and would think about it soon.

"I'm going to think about it, thank you, that is very nice of you." The brunette girl didn't know what else to say but her mind literally drew to a blank and nothing was forming in her head. Everyone found themselves in their homes, Robby cleaned the dirt and blood off Miraleigh with a wet cloth, making sure to be gentle around her wounds and just with her in general. It was hard for Miraleigh to use her hand, she was also out of it with all the heavier painkillers she was prescribed.

Robby placed a button-up on the girl, grabbed some pyjama pants and placed them on the girl. He tucked her in the bed, making sure she had the pillow under her leg and the brace around her knee. Miraleigh smiled as Robby rested the bear in her arms and lay next to her once she was all comfortable.

"How are you doing love? I never asked you." Robby caressed her cheek, facing her to see how she was doing, he pecked the back of her hand and gave her a look. Miraleigh fiddled with the stuffed toy, focusing on Robby's eyes as he stared at her.

"Sweetheart, I'm fine, don't worry... please. I need to focus on you, you're hurting. I need you to be okay, rest... please." Robby begged the girl, she nodded and stared at him with a weak smile.

"Okay, love." She whispered, reaching for his hand so she could have some physical touch, Robby was scared to take his eyes off of her, she'd already fallen asleep and after everything that happened today, he felt terrified to look away for a second in fear that something bad would happen to her when he wasn't looking.

Yet, knowing the girl, practically hearing her voice in the silence of the room, he knew that she'd tell him to relax and sleep. So, he laid down beside her, facing her and holding her hand softly in his own. The two fell asleep hand in hand, prepared to sleep for as long as they'd need, both of them really needed it. Robby woke up multiple times across the night, his mind not letting him sleep and check on the girl. He was petrified for the girl, he couldn't deal with her not being okay, it was all his fault and the words repeated over and over again in his head.
