It was now December, Miraleigh always loved Christmas and she got to spend it with Robby. They were doing well living with each other, Miraleigh wasn't working her butt off anymore and had only one job which was a better pay than the pizza delivery. Robby was trying to convince Miraleigh to go back to school but knew she was nervous and worried about going back. So he didn't push it too much, she smiled shyly and hugged him goodbye. Kissing his lips and then flopped on the couch as he went to go to Cobra Kai.
He chuckled waving goodbye and walked off. Miraleigh sighed, looking at her school bag and shook her head sighing. She knew Robby was right, but she couldn't do it. No more fights, no more people judging her. She was happy and liked how things were. Miraleigh spent the day reading, Willow at her side and snoozing happily.
Miraleigh took Willow for a walk, going past multiple stores and then went back to the apartment. She made some lunch, listening to some music and then danced around. Miraleigh was happy, she had no clue how to dance but it just seemed right to be dancing to the music. Her phone rang, catching her attention and she grabbed it. Looking at the message and furrowed her eyebrows.
It was from Robby, pretty much saying he would be running a little bit later than usual. It didn't bother her too much, so she just gave a simple answer. She hummed quietly to herself, going back to reading. It was late in the afternoon, Robby opened the door and smiled gently at her.
"Hey." He gently said, placing the keys down and sat next to her.
"How was your day?" She asked quietly, he smiled and kissed her cheek grabbing her hand.
"Well, Hawk still hates me but I think the others are warming up to me." He explained, biting his tongue as he didn't talk about stealing the cobra. But she knew him all too well, she sighed and shook his head kissing his lips.
"Tell me." She whispered quietly.
"I stole a snake with some of the others." She sighed, shaking her head and pulled away. Robby held her hands.
"I know you don't like it, I don't really like It either. But please, I want you to be happy and I know you are happy right now with doing it." She felt bad, because she knew he was right and nodded slightly.
"Just understand that I don't want you changing because of it. Please." She whispered quietly, he nodded and hugged her. Rubbing circles on her back.
"I promise." He whispered, kissing her cheek and smiled. She gotten a very small Christmas, decorating it with cheap but cute decorations. Robby helped, handing her some non-alcoholic eggnog and sat on the couch with her.
"I know it isn't Christmas, just yet but Merry Christmas." He whispered, sipping on the drink and watched a movie on her laptop. Robby made dinner, the two ate it, talking about what they'd do for the holidays.
"Was Kaylee there?" She asked, Robby nodded and held her hand.
"She probably makes this situation incredibly worse, I hate her and she keeps talking to me about what she did. Trying to piss me off and told me this. She went to Juvie but apparently your uh mother got her out and then has been staying at the dojo." Miraleigh nodded and felt a tiny smirk form on her lips.
"Good thing too, mother will just ditch her ass like she did to me." Robby snorted, shaking his head and stood up. Cleaning the dishes and a smile appeared on his lips.
"What?" She asked curiously, he chuckled. Shaking his head and shrugged.
"Nothing, I was just thinking about what you said if you were in a relationship. I will not be a house wife, my boyfriend can get off his ass and work too." She snorted, shaking her head and smiled.
"Yep, remember that too." He chuckled, taking her hand and danced around with her. Miraleigh stood on her tippy toes, placing a kiss on his lips and felt him wrap his hands around her waist. He chuckled, pulling away and rested his forehead on hers.
"I'll come to the dojo, only because no students will be there." She whispered, he nodded, stepping back and grabbed his keys. The two walked out, taking her hand and they walked to the dojo. She took her shoes off, grabbing at a kicking shield and held it up. He smirked, nodding and stepped back taking his shoes off and kicked the shield. Impressed that she firmly held her ground.
"Harder." She said, the smack of the bag filled her ears and a sound escaped her lips as she shuffled slightly.
"Your turn." She thew it to him, smirking as he held it up and did multiple kicks at full power. She grinned and took the bag from him. Placing it down with the others and held her hands up. They sparred for a little bit, Robby running to get in his gi and then the door opened. Miraleigh turned around, seeing Kaylee and knew a fight was about to come. She threw her jacket off, seeing the knuckle and grabbed a bar that was lying on the ground. She used her training with the long fighting stick and instantly hit the knuckle out of her hands.
Kaylee hit Miraleigh in the stomach, yanking the stick from her hands and head butted her. Miraleigh shouted, hitting Kaylee in the face and kicked her in the stomach. Kaylee fell to the ground, Miraleigh stared at her, shaking her head and sighed.
"Miraleigh, wouldn't trust you being here by yourself. I kissed Robby, he liked that too." Miraleigh shook her head, stepping back and hit the ground with a thud. She groaned, hitting her head and stared at her. Before she knew it, Miraleigh had blood running down her face, dripping onto her hands and on the carpet.
"Not this time bitch." Miraleigh muttered, violently kicking Kaylee in the face and stomach, smashing the glass, but not enough to have it hit the ground. She walked into the other room, seeing Kreese and Robby. Every bad moment in Miraleigh's life played in her head. She was hurting, all the emotions from each event came to her and she wanted to get revenge on all of the people who caused it.
"Cobra Kai has itself a new member." A small smirk appeared on her lips, Robby looked at her, grinning as he was happy that she would come and train at the dojo.
"Finally, this can be a family business." She nodded and walked over to him, a small smile on her lips. Miraleigh smiled at him a grin on his lips.
"Though, grandpa. You better keep the money coming, just like the deal says. Because like you once said, you'd do anything for your granddaughter." He nodded, grinning at her.
"Fair deal." He said, nodding and then Miraleigh turned on her heel.
"I'll be in the other room." She called out, as she exited the doorway, she was hit along the head with a piece of metal. She hit the ground, groaning and whimpered at the throbbing pain. Miraleigh passed out, as she felt something hit her head and didn't come to it for a few minutes. She felt Robby help her up and they both limped to the outside. She saw Sam, Miguel Johnny, Daniel and Kreese all standing out there.
"Miraleigh." Daniel sighed, I shook my head. Resting my head on Robby's shoulder.
"Just go, you've all fucked up." Miraleigh was done, she had been screwed by people too many times that she felt a wave of not giving a shit hit her. Robby helped her inside, cleaning up her face and a few other wounds. Miraleigh, cleaned the cut on his forehead. Gently hugging him as they thanked Kreese, telling him they'll be there tomorrow. They went home, getting into their pyjamas and let Willow sit on their bed. Miraleigh laid facing Robby, a tired smile on her lips.
"I love you so much Robby." She whispered quietly, listening to his heartbeat in the silence.
"I love you too, sweetheart." She grinned, feeling Robby wrap an arm around her and closed his eyes. He had this voice in the back of his head, telling him how stupid he is for letting this happen to Miraleigh, but he ignored it, telling himself it was fine.
