Chapter Fifty-three

"Sid?" Ashton questioned surprised. He had not expected Luke's new therapist to be one that worked back in the ward. "He's in Sydney?"
"Yes. Me and a few other therapist did an exchange with some others down to here. We wanted a change. I decided to take part time because I wanted a life and Sid is now doing patients who are still living at home."
"Sid doesn't like me," Luke pouted as he rested his head in his hands as he sat at the breakfast table with everyone.
"He does Luke," Alex reassured him. "He thought I treated you better than everyone else and you did not get enough discipline which I agree with," Alex shrugged simply knowing he got away with not eating a little too often.
"But I liked you as my therapist," the blonde moaned causing him to laugh and his mother to smile.
"I know and I liked having you as my patient even though you were hard work. However, I have a soft spot for you Luke and I don't think I will benefit your recovery. You need a fresh start."
The young boy sighed looking down at the cereal that had been placed in front of him and that he was supposed to eat before he heads off to therapy.
"Eat," Liz urged the boy with a small nudge. The blonde just shook his head and dreaded the possible outcomes of therapy with Sid.
Meanwhile, Jack entered the kitchen with his pyjama bottoms hanging loosely around his hips. Luke eyed up his older brothers lean body with envy and wished he could be like that. Sighing once again he pushed his chair back and stood up, wanting to go and sit back in his room.
"Where do you think you're going?" Liz asked getting up from her son.
He shrugged simply before continuing to walk away from the food which he was supposed to eat. Ashton banged his fist on the table angrily, he was fed up with his boyfriends attitude towards his weight and food consumption that it was making him doubt wanting to be in this relationship with Luke.
The blonde stood still and turned to face the source of the bang. "If you don't eat that then I'm out of here. I don't want to be anywhere near you until you get your shit together."
"Ashton, I-" Luke began growing incredibly scared. An eating disorder he could barely control could easily ruin his relationship with a boy he loved so dearly.
"You treat me like shit Luke. You lie to me day in and day out."
"I'm sorry," Luke began in protest.
"No. If you were sorry you would have never lied to me in the first place. If you loved me you would of never even thought about lying."
"I do love you," the young boy whispered, his emotions all over the place. His body was shaking vigorously. "I really do love you." He slid down the wall in a fit of sobs.
No one was sure why to expect the fact his hormones were all over the place. Ashton rolled his eyes thinking this was the blondes way of trying to make him feel bad and take back everything he said.
"You're just being pathetic now," the curly haired boy shrugged simply not caring that his boyfriend was having an emotional breakdown.
"Ashton," the grey haired man sighed sitting down next to the eighteen-year-old.
"I'm fed of being lied to and treated like shit," he stated simply. Ever since Luke began to loose weight again he had not cared for him.
"I know you are and Luke is trying to get better now. He didn't mean to lie to you he's truly sorry." The curly haired boy snorted. "It's not Luke lying to you Ashton. It's his eating disorder taking over him."
He sat there and thought, placing his head in his hands for not realising that. The older boy looked over at the sobbing young boy and pouted. He looked dead.
"Come here, Lukey."

"You look awful Luke," Sid remarked as he saw the familiar blonde sat in the waiting area at a clinic. It was the truth, he once again looked like death. But, this time he was more open and less in denial about it all.
"Thank you," he smiled politely standing up knowing he was going to have to follow the man into a room.
The older man chuckled looking the boy up and down remembering how he found in very intriguing, unlike other patients. "And that's why I like you."
"I thought you disliked me," Luke admitted remembering all the times the therapist had been so harsh and rude on him.
"I've never disliked you. I think you're the most respectful and appreciative patient I've ever met even though you had your moments."
"Thank you," Luke repeated again with a huge grin on his face. It made him happy that someone was pointing out positive aspects of himself. After all, everyone always pointed out how skinny he was and lately all he did was lie.
Sid just shook his head in amusement. "Come on then, let's get on with your recovery."
When the started to head to the man's room, Luke questioned. "What if I don't want to recover?"
Sid just sighed hoping the boy was being smart and joking. He allowed the boy to sit down in a seat opposite his desk. "Do you want to recover?" he asked hopefully.
Luke nodded eagerly, "I'm obviously not fussed on gaining weight but I know it's what I have to do and I have to get over it."
The older man nodded looking down at all the information Alex and Ashton had supplied him with. He had an idea on what triggered the blondes fall back down to being extremely underweight once again.
However, he did not want to have that conversation, he wanted to see it for himself.
Therefore, he moved to a cupboard near his desk and got out a piece of chocolate cake and placed it in front of the blonde.
The man sat back and watched his eyes widened in fear. But, after a couple of minutes of silence, he began to nibble away at the cake without even being told to.
Sid took note of this, as well as the look of struggle on his face. He did not have to eat it though, but he did.
