Chapter Twenty-four
-
We're all in the same game; just different levels. Dealing with the same hell; just different devils.
Ashton was not one to jump to conclusions; however; after what Luke had just said he was one hundred percent sure there was something wrong with him.
The whole point of the blonde going in the cushioned room was for him to be alone and suffer and act of boredom. He was supposed to be so bored that he showed off his mental difficulties, that's if he did have them.
Therefore, for him to admit to someone being in the room with him, when there evidently wasn't, Luke had to be mental in some sort of way.
But, Ashton didn't think Luke was mental. He knew that Luke wasn't mental. The Luke which was his boyfriend never spoke to imaginary people or set his eyes upon them. It was simply caused by his brain not functioning properly somewhere.
Just like himself having bipolar, Ashton had to have medication to control it. That's all the blonde needed to help him be himself more often. None of that made him mental.
Like the blonde always said, he was not mental. It was just the fact that people liked to put labels on things. For instance, Luke was Ashton's boyfriend. They were both gay. Ashton had bipolar. Luke had anorexia.
When in real life, everyone was unique and they may have a certain disorder or illness but everyone suffered and dealt with it differently. Hence why everyone recovered with different speeds.
Ashton, really, was just Ashton. And Luke was just Luke.

The curly haired boy left his boyfriend sleeping peacefully on his bed. He had slept a good ten hours whilst in that room after all the floor was cushioned. But, the blonde could always fall asleep on Ashton's lap, whether he was tired or not.
The elder then slipped the boys head off of his lap and placed him softly on the bed. He hoped to be back before Luke awoken because he would not be in a good mood to see his boyfriend had left. Yet Ashton did not know how long he'd be.

Dawdling along the many corridors, the hazel eyed boy wondered if he was doing the right thing, telling three therapists what his boyfriend had just told him in an evident confidential situation.
But, he knew deep down it was. It was worth Luke being angry with him. Because he just wanted the blonde to be better and happy about the way he looked.
Nearing the end of his stay here, Ashton wanted to focus on Luke now instead of himself. Because the medication controlled a lot of the curly haired boy's problems anyway.
When arriving at Alex's office, the boy knocked on the door and waited for a response. Unlike last time when he just barged in and had a go at the man.
"Come in," Alex's voice called and Ashton did as he said. The grey haired man really hoped it was Luke yet he knew that this early on it definitely was not going to be him.
The curly haired boy did not bother to greet each therapist. Instead got straight to the point. "Luke said there were people in that room."
