CHAPTER FIFTY-ONE THE REAL TRUTH
ARTEMIS AWOKE DISORIENTED as two hands began to shake her slightly. She opened her eyes and saw Hermione wearing her red scarf and a thick jacket. Artemis narrowed her eyes, while her vision was first blurred "Why are you dressed like that?"
"Good morning, love," Hermione whispered, stroking Artemis's tousled hair. "Will you come with me Hogsmeade? I have to help Harry, and Ron is too busy to eat."
Artemis snorted at the mention of the redhead. She sat up and yawned, stretching her arms. The girl brought her hands close to her eyes to rub them and looked at her girlfriend again.
Hermione's her Girlfriend. This must have been repeated in her mind without stopping. A huge smile appeared on her face, which made Hermione look at her confused. Artemis wrapped her arms around Hermione's waist, pulling her into bed. Hermione yelped in surprise while Artemis's strong arms wrapped around her, embracing her tightly.
"I have a girlfriend," Artemis murmured, burying her face in Hermione's hair, inhaling the scent of her shampoo. Hermione chuckled and brought her hands to Artemis's face. With her palms, Hermione felt the warmth of her girlfriend's face. She raised her head, touching her nose to Artemis's, and brought her lips closer, kissing her tenderly.
An even bigger smile appeared on Artemis's face when she felt Hermione's warm and soft lips on hers. She pulled her slightly, bringing the bushy-haired girl even closer to her, but Hermione backed away, making Artemis frown. She let out a laugh, slipping from her strong hands, and began fixing her hair.
"As much as I want to keep doing this, Harry is probably waiting for us," Hermione explained, clearing her throat as her cheeks coloured in pink.
Artemis looked at her confused. "What do you mean? Potter has a date with Cho Chang today, at least that's what I heard." The brunette got up and went to the bathroom while Hermione followed from behind.
"Yes, he told me about the date, but-" Hermione's eyes widened as her mouth opened in agape. Her chocolate orbs began to darken as they saw Artemis's bare, well-shaped back while she was changing her clothes.
Artemis turned when she heard a surprising silence and saw Hermione staring at things with her mouth wide open. "You like what you see, Granger?" Artemis replied, a wide smirk on her face. Hermione finally managed to l snap out of the trance and blushed.
"S-Shut up," She stuttered turning her back on Artemis so she wouldn't look at her, no matter how much she didn't want to. "I'll wait for you outside," Hermione said breathlessly and hurried out of the bathroom without waiting for her girlfriend's answer.
Artemis washed as quickly as she could, wearing her favourite pants with the typical shirt tucked into her pants. She got out, and she and Hermione headed for the end of the castle, on their way to the village of Hogsmeade. Of course, Hermione never explained the reason for this meeting, but Artemis stopped asking questions as soon as her girlfriend gave her a glare.
