CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN THE FIRST TASK
WYATT AND ARTEMIS made their way to the stands, where Fred and George were waiting for the girl.
"I'll go sit with Marie. I don't think the Gryffindors will be happy that the Golden boy's boyfriend is around them." He said.
Artemis looked at him suspiciously. "Are you sure? Fred and George are nice. Plus if someone bothers you, you can always tell me and I'll beat their ass."
Wyatt shook his head." No, I'll be fine."
Artemis shrugged it and walked to her friends. Fred and George moved away, making space so she can sit between them.
"Well, little Lestrange, are you sad cuz right now you can't participate?" They teased her, but she smirked and shook her head.
"Please, I have all the attention in the world." She smirked mischievously, causing the two twins to erupt into laughter.
That was when the crowd boomed into applause. Cedric was coming out of the tent, walking slowly to the arena, with a worried expression.
That was when Artemis stood up and screamed with all her might. "OOI! DIGGORY! STOP TREMBLING LIKE A LITTLE GIRL AND SHOW THEM WHAT ARE YOU CAPABLE OF! WHOOOOOO!"
Cedric immediately relaxed a bit once he heard her voice, cheering for him. She turned to the crowd looking for her. She saw the girl and beamed at her.
The whole crowd cheered after the Artemis, agreeing with her. She turned her gaze to Wyatt who was grinning at her. She sent him a wink and turned her attention to the Diggory boy.
She was watching him as he managed to transfigure a boulder into a dog, which distracted the dragon long enough for him to steal the egg. The Hogwarts students started to cheer even louder as he held up the egg in triumph.
Cedric smiled and pointed at Wyatt, indicating that this victory was for him. The boy blushed slightly but still cheered for his boyfriend, screaming and cheering.
The second champion was Fleur Delacour. She managed to put the dragon into a trance and steal the egg. The dragon set her robes on fire, making the girl squeal and running into the tent with the egg.
Viktor Krum charged into the arena with his usual cold but determined expression. He used a curse to temporarily blind the dragon. In result, he was able to sneak around and steal his egg. Upon triumph, he held up his egg.
He turned to the crowd, his stare at Hermione. She girl blushed uncomfortably but politely smiled. The Bulgarian seeker send the brunette seductive wink and walked in the tent.
This, of course, didn't go unnoticed by Artemis. She sent an angry look to the young seeker, not knowing how, he noticed her look and smirked mischievously. That pissed the girl off and she immediately whirled her stare at the Granger girl who was looking at her with a tint of guilt in her eyes.
