CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO THE 'BEAUTY' PROBLEM
AND THE DAY HAD COME. The delegations of Beauxbatons and Durmstrang were coming today. Artemis was extremely happy because she had the luck to miss the terrible Potions class with the terrible Professor Severus Snape or Snivellus as she called him.
For the past weeks, Hermione and Artemis had returned to their good relationship. The Granger girl didn't miss the chance to tell Artemis about her House-Elf club or S.P.E.W. and of course, Artemis offered her help, which Hermione didn't refuse.
But the main reason she joined Hermione's club was just to spend more time with the girl. Hermione didn't give much attention to Artemis. She even asked her a few times on a date in Hogsmeade, but Granger girl always refused, saying that she is really busy and can't go.
As for the classes, the lessons were getting more intense and stressing for Artemis and her brother especially when it came to DADA with the ex-Auror Alastor Moody.
Sitting beside Pansy Parkinson, they were watching how Dean Thomas, controlled by the Imperius Curse, was hopping around the room, singing the national anthem. Once Moody was done with him. His ugly eye stared at Apollo.
He pointed his wand at him and said with a loud voice. "Lestrange, you're next."
Apollo stood up and slowly walked to the Professor, looking him in the eye.
Moody raised his wand and muttered. "Imperio!"
Apollo suddenly froze, eyes closed. Moody was telling him commands, but Apollo didn't move from his place, smirked appearing on his face. Everyone in the cabinet was looking with amusement how the boy didn't do anything that Moody was ordering him.
Very impressed, the Professor praised the boy and let him go, turning his attention to the other members of the Lestrange family.
"You're next, Artemis." He said, gesturing her to come.
Artemis stood up and walked to the Professor. She could feel Hermione's worried eyes looking at her.
"Imperio!"
It was the most wonderful feeling that Artemis had ever felt. It felt like everything in her mind was erased and all she could feel was happiness
That was when she heard Moody's voice ordering her.
