ARTEMIS AND DUMBLEDORE walked down the corridors at a brisk pace until they reached the stone gargoyle which was guarding the entrance to his office.

"Frizzing Whizzbee," said Dumbledore.

The gargoyle sprang to life and leapt aside; the wall behind it split in two to reveal a stone staircase that was moving continually upwards like a spiral escalator. The two of them stepped on to the moving stairs; the wall closed behind them with a thud and they were moving upwards in tight circles until they reached the highly polished oak door. Dumbledore pushed open the door and opened it wide, showing his huge office.

However, it did not appear to be empty, because in one corner of his library stood four students, all in their dark green uniforms.

"Give my thanks to Professor Snape for bringing you here," Dumbledore said loudly, drawing the attention of the three Slytherins, who seemed to be startled as they surveyed his office.

Tom was the first to call as he stepped forward. "What are we here for?"

However, Dumbledore did not answer his question and slowly sat down in his chair, while the four looked at him with anger but at the same time confusion. The director took a small, decorated box from his locker and opened it. Four types of cookies were arranged in it, each with a different taste. He lifted the box slightly. "Cookie?"

"We don't want your rubbish, Dumbledore! Say what you want and so we can leave!" Sneered Draco.

Dumbledore set the box on the table and with a flick of his wand four chairs appeared around it. "You'll have to sit down for that."

The three of them settled in without saying a word. They looked at the director expectantly until he opened his mouth to speak. "You already know why I've gathered you here for. Since you already know about the group of spies, I would also like to explain to you how this will happen. " He placed his elbows on the table and intertwined his fingers.

"But ..." His eyes scanned the four from Daphne to Draco. "I never explained why I chose you."

His gaze first remained to Draco, who tensed under his piercing stare. "Mr Malfoy can be an extremely useful informer. Also, thanks to Tom, I found out that Draco will be given a mission by You-Know-Who." Confusion and fear were written on Draco's face at the news. He gulped nervously, while his fingernails dug in and craved small holes in the handles of the wooden chair.
