CHAPTER FOURTEEN PETER PETTIGREW
LOUD CRIES WERE HEARD IN THE SHRIEKING SHACK.
Artemis stood with tears in her eyes while Hermione was sobbing in Harry's chest. She sucked her tears and wore an emotionless expression on her face.
The raven-haired boy glared at her. "How could you betray us? I THOUGHT YOU WERE A FRIEND!"
The girl flinched but ignored his enraged stare. She turned her gaze to her cousin who was watching her, troubled.
The Lestrange girl took a deep breath and said, "Let's finish what we came for", the man nodded.
Harry, filled with rage, started forward, but a pair of hands grabbed him before he could reach Sirius.
Ron looked at Black, "If you want to kill Harry, you'll have to kill us too!" he said fiercely.
"Lie down," Sirus said quietly to Ron. "You will damage that leg even more."
"Did you hear me?" Ron said weakly, though he was clinging painfully to Harry to stay upright. "You'll have to kill all four of us!"
"There'll be only one murder here tonight," said Black, and his grin widened.
"Why's that?" Harry spat, stepping in. "Didn't care last time, did you? Didn't mind slaughtering all those Muggles to get at Pettigrew...What's the matter, gone soft in Azkaban?"
"Harry!" Hermione whimpered. "Please!"
"HERMIONE HE KILLED MY MUM AND DAD!" Harry roared, trying to break free of Hermione.
"You'll regret later if you don't let him explain," Apollo responded with a tired voice.
"SHUT UP YOU TRAITOR" Harry shouted.
Artemis stepped forward, in front of the enraged boy, "For once in your life shut up and listen to h-", but before she could finish a loud clap echoed in the room.
Artemis felt warmth on her face and put her hand on her cheek. She turned around to see Hermione in front of her with red palm.
She slapped her.
"You disgust me," she said with a disgusted expression.
The older brother's blood boiled, "You bitch...HOW DARE YOU?!"
"Shut it, Apollo. I'm fine." Artemis growled, trying to calm her anger.
She glared at the shorter girl and said, "Do whatever you want. You'll regret it later."
Hermione scoffed.
Harry ran to Sirius and tackled him on the floor. As he pinned him on the floor, Harry grabbed his wand from Black's grip and pointer it under his chin.
