CHAPTER THIRTY-SIX
BEGINNING OF THE FIFTH YEAR

THE DAY HAD finally came. The Weasleys, Harry and Hermione were bidding their goodbyes on the platform.

Artemis, Josie and Apollo were still with Andromeda, waiting for Pansy and Theo to come. The Lestrange girl waved once more to the trio, who were making their way in the train.

Andromeda walked to the brunette and put her arm on Artemis' shoulder, engulfing her into a side hug. The Lestrange girl wrapped her arms around her aunt's waist and hugged her tightly.

Andromeda sighed sadly and looked at the girl. "I don't have to tell you to not get into troubles, because that won't happen but please be careful. I heard that the new DADA teacher isn't like the old ones."

Artemis smiled and nodded. Andromeda send the girl one last smile and pushed her slightly. "Go, your friends are here."

"Bye, aunty. I love you." Artemis said, dragging her trunk towards the train.

Artemis walked in the train, but before she could even look for her brother, she was met by Pansy, who engulfed her into a tight hug.

Artemis chuckled and wrapped her arms around the girl, holding her steady. "H-Hey, Pans."

Pansy pulled away and smiled widely. Her eyes were sparkling like stars. She really missed Artemis.

Pansy rose, holding on Artemis's shoulders, and kissed her on the cheek.

"I missed you so much! Did you get my letters?" Pansy asked exited, still holding on the girl.

The students were looking at the girls and smirking and whistling. Artemis smirked and Pansy left a laugh. She liked the way all girls were so envious for being so close to Artemis. She was enjoying it. Most of the girls were glaring at the Slytherin for being so close to their favourite girl.

But there was this Slytherin girl who wasn't glaring at Pansy, she was glaring at Artemis.

With her wavy chestnut hair, tall figure and hazel eyes, Mia Rosewood graciously walked towards the girls and cleared her throat loudly, getting  Artemis and Pansy out of the trance.

Artemis looked at her questioningly, while Pansy rolled her eyes in annoyance.

Mia smirked and send a wink to Pansy. "Well hello, beautiful."

"Ah, Mia! Pleasure to see you. I thought we could meet in Grimmaud place with your cousin, but that never happened." Artemis responded politely, clutching Pansy by the waist.

Mia forced a sweet smile and retorted, "Yeah, fortunately, I didn't get the chance to see you. Not that I regret it."

She turned to Pansy once again. "So Pans-"
