ANDRIETTE LOUISE DE VERA
The following day, I never made an attempt to get out of bed. Mama was upset and facing her wrath at the moment wouldn't be the smartest move on my part.
A bit overdramatic? Haha,no. It would've been, if it wasn't for the fact that my mama was Asian. Asian moms are a nightmare. Trust me.
My plan was eventually put to a stop when Andrei fetched me from my room. He forcefully dragged me from the comforts of my bed and pulled me outside my room. A part of me actually regretted ever welcoming my brother yesterday with open arms.
He's a mama's boy.
"You ready to face her wrath, twin?" He asked in a worried tone. His brows were pulled together, sympathy swirling deep in his eyes. I would've believed he was actually worried, if it wasn't for the fact that the bastard was smiling at me.
"Ahaha. Shut up" I said as I pushed him to the side. I rolled my shoulders and quickly descended down the staircase, my eyes already locked on the front door. My feet moved on their own accord as the door got nearer and nearer.
Just a few more steps and I'll be momentarily spared by mama's wrath.
"And where do you think you're going?" I turned around and flashed a very awkward smile at my fuming mother. She had her hands on her hips and even at her short height, she still managed to scare me.
Well, you know what they say! Date someone whose still afraid of their Mama!
..Or does that only apply for males?
"Work?" It came out more of a question than a statement, making her arc her brows at me. I could hear my brother's giggles from the top of the stairs and I forced myself to not glare at him.
"Its a Sunday, Loui. And yesterday was supposed to be our family dinner. Which is a weekly tradition, if you forgot" she deadpanned.
"Louisa, that's enough dear" I heard papa's voice, making my shoulders sag instantly in relief.
"You always spoil her, Alejandro" Mama huffed, but a small smile appeared on her face when papa hugged her from behind.
Such a cute couple, huh?
"Let's have breakfast now, shall we?" My papa turned to me and gave me a small wink while I mouthed a thank you.
"Papa always saves you. It's unfair. I don't get to see your butt get whooped by mama anymore" Andrei said as he slung a hand over my shoulder.
"What can I say? I'm dad's favorite" I stuck my tongue out and he did the same.
"Anak, go get your sister" Mama said as they sat at the table. Nodding my head, I proceeded to my sister's room, which was right next to Andrei's.
"Aria?" I knocked on her door. When I heard the faint come in, I entered.
She was in her teacher's uniform, and she had multiple files and on her hand. Her bag was barely hanging on her shoulder and her glasses were crooked.
She was a mess.
"Need any help?" Not bothering for an answer I took some things off of her hands and straightened her glasses for her. She gave me one of her charming smiles.
"Thanks, big sis"
"Why are you heading to school? It's Sunday" I watch her re-apply some lipstick. I didn't know what color, I'm not a makeup enthusiast. But it's definitely not red, that's for sure.
