ANDRIETTE LOUISE DE VERA
Yesterday was weird.
More than weird.
After receiving the food from Jay, (which he said he cooked specially for me) he didn't stay for small talk. He just handed me the tray and left.
No explanations.
And after 'dinner' a maid took the tray and left a note.
Jax would be mad if he found out I snuck in food for you. So I asked help from a maid, and told her to keep quiet. Hope you enjoyed the food.
- Jay
It was weird. But good. Jay sure knows how to move around the kitchen. His food tastes amazing.
And I'm a picky eater.
I shoved yesterday's events aside and focused at the task at hand.
Going downstairs.
After talking back to Mr. De Leon, (And not regretting it one bit) I hated myself.
The idea of me losing my cool yesterday made me feel pathetic. Showing your emotions means that you're weak.
I was not supposed to talk back. All professionalism flew right out the fucking window the moment I talked back.
The Executive director is going to kill me.
I sighed and straightened my shoulders.
"What could go wrong?" I mumbled as I left my room.
"You better get your head into it before anything bad else happens" were my last words before I descended from the ridiculously huge staircase.
As I was nearing the kitchen area, I noticed something unfamiliar. There was some shouting. And an unfamiliar voice.
My senses immidiently heightened as I crept towards the voices.
It wasn't Jay and Jake. I wouldn't have sensed something wrong if it was them.
And it was a female. Quite old. but still someone unfamiliar, nonetheless.
As I was nearing the perimeter where the unknown person was, I halted my steps and listened.
Two voices. I peaked through the corner.
Four shadows. I draw nearer and removed my knife from my holster and quietly made my way towards the unfamiliar shadow.
In one swift movement, I had the unknown person pinned infront of me. My knife hovering above the trespasser's throat as she released a shrill scream.
"De Vera! What do you think are you doing!?" Mr. De Leon seethed.
"Let go of my mother this instant!"
Oh fuck.
I Instantly recoiled away from Mrs. De Leon, taking a few steps back. Mrs. De Leon quickly turned towards me, her face masked with shock.
