ANDRIETTE LOUISE DE VERA
Weeks. I waited for weeks. And finally, the time has come.
Interrogation day.
I made sure I had everything I needed before zipping my bag shut, slinging it on my shoulders afterwards. A quick prayer and a few goodbyes later, I was on the road zooming pass slow drivers that blocked my way. The air was cold, but it didn't bother me in anyway. My hair was flying wildly behind me, free from the tight bun that I wore for a month and a half.
Yes. A half. Time really does fly fast. I waited half a month for the police to finish their interrogation of the man I had left alive on the shoot out and finally, they were done with him.
He's all mine now.
I smirked and revved my bike faster, my background fading into blobs of mashed colors.
I woke up at 3am and sneaked my way out of Mr. De Leon's house. He knew about the interrogation and said that he wanted to come since it involved him. And I refused.
I was going a torture a man for information for goodness sake. Why did he have to come?
Anyways, I sneaked my way out and went home. I had some.. Equipment back home that I think would be useful later. It was now 7:55 in the morning. I parked my bike in its usual parking space and hopped off the bike. I didn't bother tying up my hair this time.
I had a feeling that this interrogation will be going smoothly.
ADONIS JAX DE LEON
"I can't believe she snuck out and left without me!" I grumbled and hastily dried my hair with a towel.
Me and Louise had a deal that we would both go in the agency and see the man together. I had barely got a wink of sleep last night thinking about it and the moment I wake up, I see an empty bed room and a missing Louise.
"Well, I certainly do believe it." Jake said as he tied up his tie.
I decided that he and Madeline should head in the company and check how things were going. We had been absent for weeks and my Papa was going to kill me if he found out. And it's just plain unresponsible. I trust my employees won't do anything but you couldn't be too sure.
"Interrogation isn't cupcakes and rainbows, Jax. Andriette had a good reason for leaving you behind. And don't fight me on this." Jay murmured beside me. He's the one who's going to join me today.
"I know that." I hissed. "And I can handle it. I'm not Jake." I grumbled and shook my fairly dry hair.
"Hey! That's mean." Jake's voice called from the other side of the room.
"Oh I know." Jay had this cryptic smile on his face.
Creepy..
"But I don't think you won't be able to stomach what Louise would be doing today." I scoffed and straightened my clothes, walking ahead.
"It's just an interrogation. What's the worst that can happen?"
15 minutes later and we finally arrived the agency. Louise said that the man would arrive exactly at 8am. We were 10 minutes late.
Me and Jay exchanged glances before walking towards the entrance. Being in this agency without Louise felt intimidating. Agent's in uniforms similar to Louise's littered the area, but in different color. I was positive the colors had a meaning. Louise's uniform was black, and her agent friend was grey. These agents around me wore white.
