ANDRIETTE LOUISE DE VERA
The knocks on my door were never ending, making me groan aloud and roll out off bed. I grabbed my mask and put it on, making my way to the door whilst doing so. The person's knocking was halted when I abruptly opened the door. My eyes intantly took in Jake's half awake apperance, still seamingly sleepy like I was. It wouldn't be much surpirse if I looked just like him at the moment.
His eyes were half closed, bed hair all over the place. His usual button up shirt was no where to be seen as he stood infront of me in his half naked glory.
"Adonis is calling us" he muttered before yawning, streching his arms as he did so.
I nodded my head and told him to go ahead. He gave a nod of his own before walking away. I shut the door and rummaged through my dufflle bag. I took out one of my many uniforms I have packed and made my way towards the bathroom.
Today officially marks my first month with the De Leon's. It never occurd to me how long I had been staying with them already. In a short span of a month, a lot of things had already happened. A car chase, death threaths, break downs from Mrs De Leon, and of course, my perfectly halead bullet wound.
Another scar that would mark my survival, like a tattoo.
I lathered myself up with the soap that was stocked inside the classy Bathroom and sighed. I relaxed under the shower head for a bit, staring at my feet as water cascaded down my back, falling into the tiled floor like an endless waterfall.
When the water started getting cold, I quickly hopped off the shower and toweled myself dry. The sun was shining brightly the moment I stepped outside the Bathroom. I blow dried my wet hair as I didn't have the time to wait for it to air dry. I twisted it into it's signature bun and grabbed my holster from the bedside table.
Announcing a quick prayer, I left the room and locked it behind me. I took long, confident strides. My combat boots didn't make a sound even when I picked up my pace, speed walking on the tiled floors. Everyone was already up and eating breakfast when I arrived. Though it seems like they all just woke up, as they were still clad in sleepwear.
"Good morning, Louise" Madeline offered me a smile. I nodded my head and sat at the last chair that was unnocupied, Next to Jay and across from Mr. De Leon.
"Good morning Louise" Jake seemed to be in a better mood as he took a sip from his coffee. I greeted him back as I took off my mask and dragged the bacon and eggs nearer to me that was given by the maid. I nodded my head in gratitude and dug in silently.
The table was silent excluding the scraping of utensils in ceramic. It was peaceful, actually.
Right after I placed my utensils down, I felt my pocket vibrate as my phone rang. Curious and worried gazes followed me, giving the fact that my last phone call wasn't at all, pleasant. I excused myself from the table and walked towards a corner where I'm sure I am out of earshot. I looked at the caller I.D and my eyes instantly hardened.
"V. " The familiar voice brought chills down my spine. The mention of my code name adding to the effect. V is my official codename in secret missions. When the director calls me agent, it's something serious. But when you're called by your code name, shit's about to go down.
"D. It's been a while" I muttered. D is a special friend of mine. A member of the special agents. The group I had been forced to leave for Mr. De Leon's needs.
"V. We need you" Her voice almost pleading . My heart seemed to beat faster as I listened to her rambling on the line.
"D, deep breaths. I can't understand you when you ramble like that. What's wrong?" I knew someone was eve's-dropping but I focused at the task at hand. D was known for having panic attacks. She was stationed as a hacker so she isn't that exposed to violence. Blood and gore makes her sick, but a smart hacker couldn't go to waste. So everyone makes sure no one exposes her to anything, until now.
