The days following the night of the party were hectic, to say the least.

I flew back to California for the week, to visit my family for the holidays.

I was so exited to see my two brothers and my mom and dad.

It's felt like forever since I've seen them, so we made sure to do all the holiday traditions.

Owen went back to Oklahoma to visit his family for the holidays, but we still kept in touch.

It was currently New Year's Eve and I was flying home back to Vancouver today.

"Bye mom, I'm gonna miss you so much." I hug her goodbye.

"I love you so much sweetie, see you in 6 months." She squeezes me tightly.

I wave goodbye and walk towards security.

I was already feeling homesick once I boarded the plane.

Time skip

I arrived back in Vancouver a couple of hours ago, and was getting ready for yet another party: this time it was a New Year's Eve one.

I wore a black sparkly dress, and black high heels to complete the outfit.

After I'm all ready, I hop in the car and drive to Charlie and Owen's apartment.

They're apartment is the party pad, I guess.

I scream as soon as I see Savannah and she runs over to me.

"I missed you so much!" She says pulling me in to hug.

"I missed you more" I pull away and smile at her.

"Not possible."

I talk with Sav for a little longer, before walking away to look for Charlie and Owen.

"Charlie!" I yell and he turns around.

"B, you're back! We missed you!" He yells and I laugh.

"Aw, I miss you! How's Vancouver been?" I look up at him.

"Cold, snowy." He shrugs.

"I assumed so. Hey, have you seen-" he cuts me off.

"Owen?" He asks and raises a eyebrow.

"How'd you know?"

"It's obvious, B. Anyways, he's getting a drink." He says and points to the kitchen.

"Thanks." I wave goodbye.

"Nice outfit" I whisper in his ear from behind.

He noticeably flinches and I laugh.

He turns around the look at me, and sighs in relief.

"Oh, thank god." He puts a hand over his chest to feel his heartbeat and calm his self down.

"Please tell me you weren't that scared?"
