Saturday was quite bland. Our Hogsmeade trip wasn't as much fun as the last when we went dress shopping. Today was Sunday morning, which meant today was the study date with Jeremy, and I had a feeling Fred wasn't completely okay with it. We were all having breakfast when Fred walked in with Angelina. George was walking behind them with Lee. He sat besides me for a quick minute.
"Morning darling." he said and then gave me a quick peck on my cheek.
"Morning. What are you up to today?" I said.
"Quidditch practice. I've got to go. See you around love." He stood up and went to take his seat next to none other than Angelina. She would sit in between both Fred and George.
"Good morning Y/N." I turned around and saw that it was Jeremy. "May I take a seat for a moment?"
"Yeah of course." I turned to look towards where Fred was sitting. I was surprised to see that he hadn't noticed. It was probably because he was too busy laughing with Angelina. "So what's up?"
"I just wanted to know if we were still studying today."
"Oh yeah, for sure."
"Brilliant. I also wanted to know if afterwards, you wanted to go down to Hogsmeade?" I looked over at Hermione and Ginny and knew that they were thinking what I was thinking.
"Yeah why not." I said as I gave him a smile.
"Wicked. Well I'll see you later at three?"
"Yeah." He stood up and walked away. I'm guessing this caught Fred's attention because he turned to look at him as he was walking away and then looked at me. I looked away as soon as we made eye contact.
"Can we join you?" asked Ron. I was about to answer but Hermione did it first.
"No Ronald! Let them go alone."
"What? Like a date?" he said looking over at Fred.
"It's not a date Ron. Right Y/N?" added Harry.
"Right. We're just friends nothing more." We continued eating our breakfast. Once that was done we headed over to Hagrid's. The trio invited me to come along. Ginny went to the library with a blonde Ravenclaw girl so she didn't join us.
"Are you lot sure Hagrid won't mind me?" I asked. I have never really talked to Hagrid. It is after all, my first year here.
"Yes Y/N we're sure." responded Ron. Once we got there Harry knocked on the door. The tall bearded man opened the door to his small, yet humble and homey hut.
"Ah I've been wondering when you'd come down ter visit!" he said as he let out a loud chuckle. "Oh 'ello who do we have here?"
"I'm Y/N Black." I said.
"Ah Y/N! Well come on in you lot don't just stand there." We walked in and the smell of fertilizer mixed with the smell of freshly baked cookies. "Would yer lot like some? Freshly baked."
"No thank you, we've just finished breakfast." said Hermione. I felt a bit awful that no one wanted one.
"I'll take one." I said kindly.
His face warmed up with a smile as he handed the tray over so I could grab one. I looked over at Harry who's eyes widened and shook his head slightly. I bit into the cookie and I suddenly understood why Harry was saying no. The cookie tasted burnt and really salty. Not to mention it was extremely hard to bite into. I tried to keep a straight face to not show the awfulness of it.
"What do yer think? Good aren't they?" said Hagrid happily.
"Brilliant." I said as I hid the cookie in my pocket.
