Chapter 56-Weasley's Wizard Wheezes

"Wake up Ronald." scolded Hermione.

"Ron! Wakey wakey ginger boy." I added.

"No let me sleep."

"No can't do." I said. "We're going to the joke shop remember? It's nine thirty. If we want to have time to go there before leaving then we better get going."

After I finished talking and looking at the ceiling as I was doing the math for the time, I looked at him and realized he was sound asleep again. I let out an annoyed sigh and then I smacked his head.

"I said wake up!"

"Fine, fine, i'm up." he groaned and then he stood up.

I smiled to myself and then headed down with Hermione for breakfast. Molly had made some scrambled eggs with bacon. I took a seat besides Harry, Ginny besides me, and Hermione in front of me. After a while, Ron came down and sat next to Hermione.

"Are you all excited to go back?" asked Molly.

"Kind of. I'm just a bit sad I won't be seeing the twins." I said.

"I'm excited for quidditch." said Ginny. "Going for chaser."

"That's great Ginny." I said. "Who do you think our beaters are going to be, Harry?"

"Well, I was thinking maybe you could try."

"Me?" I asked after almost choking on my juice. "You're barking mad."

"Oh come on. You've got a good arm and i'm sure you're good at it."

"I don't know Harry." I said. "I'll think about it."

"At least it's not a no." said Ron.

We continued eating breakfast and then we finished packing our remaining things before we went to the joke shop. After we did all that, we made our way down to the fireplace.

"I'll go first." I said as I stepped in the fireplace and took a handful of floo powder. "Diagon Ally!"

The feeling of the harmless flames engulfing me could be felt and soon I slid out of a chimney in the book store. After me came Hermione, then Ron, and lastly Harry. After we got cleaned up and all that, we headed to the joke shop. It wasn't hard to spot. The shop had one of the two ginger twins at the very front. It was moving it's hat on and off and every time a bunny would appear and then disappear. From the outside, you could see colorful flashing lights and you could hear the distant sound of laughter and music.

"Let's go." I said and we all made our way to the shop, and then in.

"Step up step up!" shouted the twins from above on the stairs. "We got Fainting Fancies, Nosebleed Nougats."

"And just in time for school-" said Fred.

"Puking Pastilles." finished George.

"Into the cauldron, handsome." they said to a boy who was about to throw up.

They hadn't noticed us walk in so we each went to do our own things. Harry and I walked over to a display that caught our eye.

"Peruvian Instant Darkness Powder." read Harry.

Suddenly, I felt two arms snake around my waist and a chin rest on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Fred with a huge smiled plastered on his face.
