Hermione wasn't speaking to Ron and she tried to avoid him at all costs. Lavender was always on him and almost every time we spotted them, they were making out, although, Ron seemed to be dreading it.

There was one recurring vision I kept having. It was a cave and I was at the center on a rock with surrounding water. Then it ended with me falling in. There was one that I had once only and it was a grassy field, almost like the ones at the burrow, but I couldn't see it. That one ended with me feeling a stinging pain.

My private lessons had been doing great. I had been doing great. I had finally caught up with Atticus but I had forgotten to ask if he wanted to be my date to Slughorn's party.

Harry, Hermione, and I were sitting in the great hall eating breakfast as Harry bugged Hermione about who she was taking.

"It's a surprise." she said again.

"Is he good looking?" I teased.

"Um sure."

"I'll be back." said Harry.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"Luna's over there." he said and pointed to Luna walking in. "I'm asking her to Slughorn's do."

I looked over at the entrance and spotted Atticus walking over to the Ravenclaw table besides Luna.

"I'll come with." I said. "I'm asking Atticus."

"Are you telling Fred?" he asked as we walked.

"We're just going as friends." I said and shrugged. "It's no big deal."

Harry nodded and we approached the two Ravenclaws who sat apart from everyone else. Atticus and Luna were very alike, so they would hang out together often.

"Hello Luna." said Harry.

"Hello Atticus." I said.

"Hello." they said.

"So, we were wondering." I started.

"If you two wanted to be our dates to Slughorn's party." finished Harry.

"Oh you're in the Slug Club?" asked Atticus.

"Yeah." I said. "So what do you say?"

"Sure." he smiled.

"Perfect."

"Luna?" asked Harry.

"I'd love to, Harry." she said softly.

"Brilliant."

We chatted for a little longer and then we made our way back to the Gryffindor table. Before we got there we saw Hermione getting her things and leaving and Ron taking a seat bedside her. Harry and I looked at each other and shook our heads.

"Blimey I can't believe she's still mad." sighed Ron.

"I don't think she has any right to be mad." I said. "I mean I get she fancied you but she could've done something about it. Even then, she's your best mate she should be happy for you, shouldn't she?"

"Fair point." he said.

"I don't know but I don't think she's getting over it anytime soon." said Harry.

"Class is starting soon, we should go." I said to Harry. "Later, Ron."

"Later." he said.

Harry and I were walking over to Study of Ancient Runes when we were stopped by Snape. He sneered at us for a moment and then began talking.
