My Weasley (Fred x Reader)

Chapter 40-Love Pastries

Umbridge had been sending Filch to keep an eye on us. More and more Educational Decrees were hung up on the entrance to the great hall. We had been having more D.A practices and everyone seemed to be getting better and better.

"Good morning." said Fred as he took a seat besides me for breakfast.

"Good morning, my love." He blushed slightly at the new phrase. I laughed softly at his expression. "What are we practicing today?"

"Stunning." said Harry.

"I know she's stunning." said Fred. "But what are we practicing?"

"No no I mean- yes she's stunning, but that's what we'll be practicing today."

"No wonder you never pass exams." I teased.

"Hey!" he fake pouted.

"I'm just joking, love."

I placed a soft kiss on his lips and then resumed my talk with Harry. I could feel him staring at me as I talked. He took a strand of my hair and began braiding it.

"What are you doing?"

"Seeing if I can still braid hair."

"Well can you?"

"Yeah. Look." he said excitedly.

I took the piece of hair and it was braided decently and nicely. I looked at him and he had a proud smile on his face, like a little kid. I giggled at how cute he looked and messed with his hair.

"Come here."

I braided a tiny braid with the short hair he had. Luckily, he had enough for one. I finished it and then he put a hand to his hair.

"Now we're matching." I said. He blushed a light pink and tangled his fingers with mine.

"Can I walk you to class today?" he asked.

"That would be nice."

We finished eating breakfast and then made our way out. We walked hand in hand as Lavender went on and on about how good we were together. She seemed to be fawning over us as we walked tall and confidently, hand in hand.

"You two are like the most powerful couple in school." she said.

"Are we now?" asked Fred.

"Well, we're here." I said as we arrived to Divination and stopped just outside the door. "Thank you for walking me."

"You're welcome, love. I'll see you later."

He placed a strand of hair behind my ear and then planted a soft kiss on my lips. I caressed his face and then walked in to take my seat. As always, class was boring.

I walked to the great hall quickly. Once I arrived, I took a seat besides Angelina. She was talking to Alicia about some new tactics.

"There you are." she said. "I was just taking to Alicia about our next game."

"What about it?"

"It's against Slytherin. They'll definitely cheat so we need to be better."

"Right."

We continued discussing new ways to play and other stuff. Eventually, the rest of our friends joined and we went into separate conversations. Fred and George seemed excited for today's lesson.

"I'm exhausted." I said as I plopped down on the couch in the common room.

"Me too." said Hermione.

"I'm excited for today's lesson." said Fred.

"We get to stun people." added George.

"You seem stressed, love." said Fred.
