I was starting to feel like Snape. I was always so serious and I was simply not in the mood to talk much. Missing Sirius was hurting me more and more as the days went by. I was also constantly missing Fred.

"Miss Black, Professor Dumbledore would like to see you in his office." said Slughorn as soon as I entered his class.

"Right. Thank you, professor."

I made my way to Dumbledore's office quickly. The school year felt different. It felt as if there were so many things that were going to go wrong. Considering the fact that i was a Seer, my gut feeling and my intuition were probably right. I said the password and made my way up to his office.

"Ah Miss Black, come in." he said.

"You wanted to see me?" I asked.

"Yes yes, take a seat."

I walked over and sat on the chair across him. He fixed his half-moon spectacles and brought his hands together.

"So...what is it?" I asked confusedly.

"Remember how Professor Trelawney said you have the ability to be a very powerful witch?"

"Yes, I do."

"Well, I think it's time to begin training those abilities. I think it's time to unleash what you're capable of. If you'd like of course." he explained.

"I'd be delighted but, why now?"

"I think it'll be good for you." he said. "I think you need to be occupied. I've noticed you've lost your spirit. And, frankly, I think you're abilities will come in handy very soon."

"Oh." was all I said. "Well, i'm ready when you are, professor."

"Perfect. Your first lesson will be this afternoon with McGonagall, Snape, and I."

"Snape?"

"He is the teacher for Defense Against the Dark Arts after all. He'll teach you to defend yourself using what you're able to do. He'll be teaching you magic a tad more advanced that your usual defensive spells." he said. "And Professor McGonagall will be there because she's offered to look after you. I myself will be teaching you to unleash your abilities."

"Sorry, professor, but how do we even know I actually have all those things within me? What if Professor Trelawney is wrong and i'm just ordinary?" I said.

"She wasn't wrong about you being a Seer, so what makes you think she's wrong now?"

I opened my mouth go speak but I had nothing to say. Could he be right? I mean, what is different in me that Hermione, Ron, or Harry don't have? Or anyone else for that matter.

"Okay." I said. "Where at this afternoon?"

"The DADA room. And try to keep these lessons in between the other professors and us. I don't want others to think you're getting special treatment."

"Thank you, professor." I said and then excused myself.

It seemed class was over and I had two free periods after so I decided to go out and walk the grounds. I was walking the halls, when I bumped into someone.

"Oh, sorry." I said. "Oh hello Atticus."

"y/n? hello." he said. "Headed somewhere?"

"Not really. I've got two free periods so I was just gonna walk the grounds."

"I've got two free periods too. Mind if I join you?"

"Not at all."

He smiled softly and we made our way to the grounds. Winter was here, so there was a cool breeze blowing that accompanied the snow. The sky was clouded white with a somber feeling yet beautiful.
