With Umbridge as headmaster, school was not at all fun. There was no longer any Quidditch, and curfew was now much earlier. The twins were planning something but they wouldn't tell me.

"Can you stop that and tell me what you're planning?" I asked annoyed as I sat on Fred's bed.

"No no." said George. "Maybe later."

"If not you'll have to wait and find out." said Fred.

"Gits." I mumbled.

"Hey! We heard that!" said George.

"Good." I said with a smirk. I stood up and made my way to the door.

"Are you mad?" asked Fred.

"No? I'm going to see Hermione."

"Bye y/n/n." they said.

I made my way out of their dorm and down to the common room. The anticipation of finding out what they were planning was killing me. Our OWL's were tomorrow so I knew exactly where Hermione would be.

The halls were filled with silence. No one wanted to go out of their common rooms except for class. The Inquisitorial Squad was patrolling the halls and scolding the first years in hopes to scare them so they could have a good laugh.

"Hey Mione." I said as I sat with her.

"Hello y/n/n." she said without looking up from her book. "Have you studied?"

"Nope."

She looked up from her book and stared at me dead in the eyes. I looked at her and shrugged.

"In that case." she said. "Study right now."

"No Mione com-"

"Sh." she said. "You're studying. End of conversation."

I huffed and surrendered. With a swish of her wand, a pile of books flew towards us and landed softly on the table. I looked at the pile of books with wide eyes and she smiled happily.

"Let's begin."

The next hours were spent studying. Hermione seemed like she could go on for hours but I was exhausted and my brain couldn't possibly handle anything else. I threw my head back and groaned in frustration.

"Come on y/n. You need to study." she scolded.

"I'll be fine Hermione."

"Well well." said someone from in front of us. I looked up and saw Fred leaning on the bookshelf.

"Come to disturb us?" asked Hermione with an annoyed tone.

"Not here for you Hermione." he said and she rolled her eyes. "I'm here for you y/n."

"What's up?" I asked.

"Can we talk?"

I felt my stomach drop. Tons of outcomes filled my mind and it made my stomach hurt. I looked over at Hermione who was already looking at me and she seemed to be thinking the same thing.

"Sure." I said. "Later Hermione."

"Bye."

We made our way out of the library and walked silently to the Astronomy tower. I looked up at him as walked and I couldn't read his expression. Once we made it, he took a seat on the floor, facing the moon.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"We need to talk." he said. "Sit."

I did as he said and took a seat besides him. I looked at him confusedly and he turned to look at me with a hesitant look.
