My Weasley (Fred x Reader)

Chapter 7- Champion Selection

It had now been about a week since Adrian asked me to go to Hogsmeade with him. The date went really well. We went to Honey Dukes then to get some butter beers. When we were on our way back we stopped at a little flower shop were he picked out a Y/F/F and put it behind my ear. I couldn't help but blush and he noticed, he smiled at how much I was blushing. Fred and I weren't talking as much anymore until I came back from my date.

-Flashback-

Adrian was walking me back to my common room.

"I had fun today Y/N." he said.

"Me too, thank you for asking me and for the flower."

"Anytime."

I walked into the portrait hole and immediately heard my name.

"Y/N you're back!" Hermione said as she put down her book and came to hug me.

"Mione hey to you too."

"Soo how was it?" she asked with a squeal.

"Yeah you've got to tell us all about your date." said Ron as he was walking down the stairs with Harry.

"Fine."

We all sat down and I started to tell them about where we went and how we had an amazing conversation.

"Aww he got you a Y/F/F!" Hermione said.

"Blimey I thought he was gonna be just like other Slytherins." said Ron.

"He's not, he's really sweet." I said.

"Well Y/N we're glad you're happy with him." Harry said as he gave me a warm smile.

"Hey hold on I never said we're together."

"Who's together?" someone asked from behind me.

Fred. I hadn't spoken to him much since that argument we had during lunch at the great hall. Occasionally I would sit with him and the others in the common room but our sentences were rather short.

"Oh hey Fred." I said.

"Hey Y/N."

It was terribly awkward.

"So who's with who?" he asked again.

"No one Harry just thought me and Adrian are together." I responded.

"Where are you off to mate?" asked Ron.

"I'm heading out with Angelina to meet Lee and George at the quidditch field for some games."

'Angelina?'

"Do you all want to come?" he asked but without looking at me.

I looked over at Hermione who seemed to notice how Fred was acting.

"No thanks mate we'll stay here, we're a bit tired." Ron said gesturing to himself and Harry.

"Well I'm going to study so, no." Hermione said as she held her book.

As soon as they all said that he walked out. I felt very mad not because I wasn't invited but because of his behavior.

"You should go talk to him." said Harry.

"And do what? Apologize? I don't see a reason to. I said what I said and if he can't handle getting told off then he should learn to." I said in a tone of annoyance.

"Well then don't apologize just tell him you want to put what you said behind." Ron said.

"I guess I could do that."
